In my brand new ebook, "Book of Gems," I share a powerful quote: "Nothing is difficult to do, everything is easy. It's only difficult to you because you haven't learned to do it yet." This quote holds the untold secret to easy learning, and it's a game-changer for mastering any skill.
I know firsthand the challenges of diving into something new. When I started my drum kit business, I had no experience in building websites or selling digital products. It felt weird and awkward at first, but I took the time to teach myself everything. And guess what? As I progressed and learned, it became easier.
This concept applies to music production too. Your first beat may be trash, and you'll struggle with sound selection, drum patterns, or playing the keyboard. But here's the key: keep pushing yourself, be willing to learn, and invest hours, days, and years into your craft. With time, you'll get better, and it will become easier.
Remember, nothing worth pursuing is truly difficult. Take those first steps and have faith in yourself. Don't be too hard on yourself, enjoy the journey, and watch yourself grow. And hey, if you want more wisdom like this, check out my ebook, "Book of Gems." It's packed with valuable insights and it's just a couple of bucks.
I appreciate each and every one of you for being a part of this community. If you haven't already, make sure to hit that subscribe button and stay tuned for more videos. Together, we'll continue to master our skills and create amazing music. Peace!

Man, I met illmind back in the early 2009ish through a friend of mine who used to be part of a group called Deep Foundation. At the time i didn't know many Filipino producers and i think when i reached out to his old email he was able to provide me a ton of tips because i formally sucked ass when it came down to making beats. However I can never forget the influence his production had on my own style. I still produce as a hobby and really stay within the sampling aspect of hiphop production but its good to see you doing good man! You may not remember me but i remember you. Thanks for representing! I'm still trying to break into the industry in some kind of capacity but until then I'll be committed to my current career. I can always dream but i do remember the last thing you told me which was never stop working on your craft. It's been some time and it has really stuck with me haha

Thank you for this! It's easy to feel overwhelmed when i compare myself to the work I hear daily and i forget that these folks have years ahead of me in terms of learning how to produce and that I'll get there the more I stay open to learning and keep practicing

Thanks for the video. It applies to me because I am currently starting an online business, and EVERYTHING IS AWKWARD. Super easy. Half these new dudes just drag and drop premade loops and claim to have “made a beat.” No creativity or skill required!
