312vandal Well that doesn't mean that every of their show would succeed. The making/diy community is getting more and more bigger so they're are definitely trying to catch a trend here. Plus the production value is amazing, most of diy videos isn't that well produced. Something more in the direction of the TESTED one day builds. This quick spotlight is nice but a more in depth thing would be great. They are making is anyway so just recoding some more dialog will barely take up more time. The extra parts don't need fancy overlays or animations, just someone who knows what he is doing explaining things to an apprentice.

I absolutely love the positive attitude of this show. I often struggle with inspiration and comparing myself to others that have a lot more experience with crafting, and will end up scrapping a project because I think I can't do it. The whole episode was great, but I loved Marcus's little tips on how to be creative and fix mistakes, so I can still make something I'll be happy with.

Bruh this whole series is awesome! It is like a blacksmith master and apprentice show I watch, but for the more crafts/fabrication minded people! The whole dynamic between them is cool too. Love it.
@MrCrazyChemist7 жыл бұрын
wat's the blacksmithing show called? sounds cool
@AMarshmallowPie7 жыл бұрын
+The Creative Chemist The blacksmithing series is not exactly like this, but the premise is similar. The blacksmithing show I watch is on the History Channel, and it is called Forged in Fire. I am not sure when it starts back up, but it usually airs on Tuesdays, I think it was. They have three rounds, usually four contestants, and they compete to forge a weapon in 3 or 4 hours, depending on the difficulty of the weapon or circumstance/building material, which is randomized, along with the building technique, then one will be eliminated, then they move on to the second round. In this round, they can fix any mistakes on the blade, and they have 3 hours to put a handle on, sharpen, and basically fit and finish the knife. After this round, the three contestants watch the judges test their knives in several tests, testing blade strength, sharpness, and edge retention. One will be eliminated, and the other two move on to round three, where they are given an historical weapon they must forge, in 5 days, at their home forge, and then they return and test the weapon. The specific episode I was referencing the show for in relation to this series, Master and Apprentice, was an episode where they had "tagteams" of a master blacksmith and his apprentice. The rounds worked the same, but every 30 minutes, the master would pass the work on the the apprentice, and they'd rotate. It is an excellent show, and the judges are pretty funny. I hope you enjoy it, if you find it. It is usually On Demand for most services, but I am not sure where you are or if it will be available. I hope it is, because it is good.
@Wookie_oo75 жыл бұрын

7:37 And that is exactly why non-Force users should never fight with a lightsaber. XD
@DontpushtheBbutton7 жыл бұрын
You don't NEED to be a Force user to be able to wield a lightsaber (it helps of course). He just lacks the combat skills, which makes a lightsaber extremely dangerous to himself.
@noraye25007 жыл бұрын
No, you don't NEED the Force to pick it up and swing it around, but a non-Force user is just asking to get hurt if trying to use a lightsaber without training. And even then, they'll never master the weapon and be able to to use it to its fullest potential without the Force to help lower the negative aspects of the lightsaber. Having a sword that can cut through almost anything from any angle with little to no resistance is not something normal people should be swinging around, in all seriousness. Also with a weightless blade, you can't physically feel were the blade is, so one wrong move and you can lop off your own body parts. But with the Force, you don't need your physical senses to know what's going on around you.

This is an alternative to buying one, just in case you can't afford those. I couldn't afford them, so I had to improvise. You can get one from there, and they are pretty cool. A friend of mine found an old 90's vacuum cleaner steel nozzle for the hose, and I made a pretty decent one from that, and some hardware stuff laying around my house, like electrical tape, some plastic bits that were already on the nozzle, and two hose clamps that go on car hoses. Anything cylindrical can be used, really.

If you want to build your own base from scratch, The Custom Saber Shop is a good resource, though it may end up being a bit more complicated to end up with a fully working lightsaber. If you really don't care what the base lightsaber initially looks like, Ultrasabers has a mystery box option and a grab bag option, both of which give you a random metal hilt for around $70-$80 USD + shipping.

Howdy guys! I am in the process of constructing my own lightsaber but a bit differently than you guys. The one thing I think for people adept in the ways of the Force to learn how to constuct a hilt is to learn the 'cram-fu' properly. It's the concept of necessary space to put the guts of the electronic board, wiring, lights, heatsink, and if they want to: a soundboard. I'm incredibly pleased on how both of yours' turned out: But who's the master and who's the apprentice? Lol. Also, a wonderful way to say farewell would have been: "The Force will be with you- always." And it will! Thanks for making my weekend a little brighter. How terribly ironic was it that I was going to continue the construction this weekend anyways, and you guys uploaded? I think this is a good sign.
