A tall headboard was my preference as well because my bedroom has a pitched ceiling. I opted for an upholstered king sized bed as well and needed one taller than my 5’9” height. But it took me about 3 months to find and decide on it. And I ultimately got it from Wayfair.

You should check out an adjustable bed frame. All you'd have to do is remove the little vertical wood under your mattress, and then just drop it in. And they're only around $500 on Amazon. My mom asked for one and after setting it up for her I got jealous and bought one for myself too.

I bought the Rawcliffe sectional too from there. You have to look into it. It’s the most comfortable and plush for it’s price. Wow!, love the bed….if I were still in the market for a new one - this would be it, but I ordered one in August from Wayfair and love it!….future tip, unbox everything and carry them independently, that’s what I did with my bed and nightstands (and I couldn’t even carry those heavy nightstands - girl, I flipped those bad boys all the way up the stairs 😂💡)….but had to get my handyman and his helper to carry the dresser up 😉)….I’m like you - purchased my three-level townhouse in 2019, so I’m still decorating and doing DIYs and as much work on my own before calling my handyman 😁….anyway, made a great purchase and by the looks of it, at a great time.

I'm in South Africa and I just got a similar bed. I'm so excited, i can't wait to get a mattress for it and finally sleep like the queen that i am, lol. I relate so much with your experience in this video because I was also not looking for a bed for my main bedroom but when I saw this specific bed and the price (it was also on sale), I had to get it! I also share the same sentiments with preferring a shorter headboard, not tufted, it's more classic and elegant and not at risk of going out of style.
