Im kings indian player and after 1.d4 Nf6 2. Bf4 g6 3. e3 Bg7 4. Nf3 d6 5. Be2 ( note that in this type of position Bishop on e3 can be easily exploited by e5 and when dark squared bishop goes to g3 then there is a fork on e4.) O-O 6. Nbd2 Nd7 (Nc6 also possible) 7. h3 Qe8 ( now important for black is to play Qe8 instead of Re8 because after playing e5 white will trade queens and you will have to capture back with a rook losing your e5 pawn.) 7. c3 e5 (Black managed to play e5 and has a great position and from here the game can go on in milion ways). The moves are basically the same every time because london players play the same moves mostly. But your plan should mostly be to move the queen to connect rooks play Be6 or Bf5 and bring rooks into the game. Playing Nh5 acconplishes nothing because aftee Bg3 you never want to trade allowing white to have an open file for whites rook near your king. Sorry for any mistakes im doing it from head so there could be some. Im rated 1800 btw.

Knight to D2 stops Black from bringing the white Bishop out to F5 attacking the B1 and C2 squares when the Queens face off on the B file, which prevents white from dropping the Queen to C2
@paulhuguet51043 жыл бұрын
@@Skarecrow1949 thank you very much! I had a lot of trouble to find this exact reason Nf3 is inaccurate but I eventually found out :) If Nf3 : when the queens face off on the B file, white has two choices First choice : exchange queens and give the a file to black, which is very good for black Second choice : drop to C2 but then black can put his bishop on f5 attacking the qhite queen ! the white queen can't take because then the black queen takes on b2 and the white rook on a1 will be lost. It would not have happened if Nd2 before Nf3 because the white rook on a1 is less awkward and if Nf3 first the knight on b1 prevents the white queen to go back and protect the rook

Thoroughly enjoy the training. Excellent teaching by Danya, but my excitement has turned into frustration. Would love it if blunder games were thrown out and a higher quality of game were presented. Here on the 9th move opponent blunders, last video maybe 10 moves then blunder, previous 12. We have a collection of miniatures filled with blunders. My son who played uscf 1450 would regularly go 15 moves before making a mistake. He would go entire tournaments without the blunders that are featured in every game until your opponents reach 2100-2200 level. Used to think online chess was overrated by 400 elo rating points, now I think those are overrated by 600 at least. Instruction is marvelous, higher game quality will get me to resubscribe.

I think it's important to realize that blunders only matter if the opponent can punish them. Daniel can punish moves that his current opponents may not even realize are blunders.
