I haven't read it yet, but this comics sounds awesome. Him being feared in one world and loved in the other sounds interesting. But that begs the question, is The Darque a anti hero, villain or hero now??
@ComicDropsАй бұрын
That’s certainly an interesting idea. I would guess that he is still going to be a villain, but with the Howling War going on in 4001, who knows?

@@Arthurmaan maybe they’re ’blurring the lines’ with Darque like they did with Harada. Certainly makes for a more interesting character, but ultimately I think he’s a villain. I think Valiant needs more strong villain characters.

This sounds interesting and i hope they hire Salvador sanz and Sebastián cabrol more often.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. I hope issue two measures up to the first!

NICE another good series keep it going Valiant. As long as they stay away from DEI they'll be good
@ComicDropsАй бұрын
DEI is a disaster in comics, but we’ve already seen them try it with Faith. If they keep doing things like this, I think we’ll be alright in the long run.

Agreed!

This is one of the best books Alien have put out. Clearly constructed story (unlike some recent Alien releases) without unnecessary characters appearing just to tick an editorial box. The art was exceptional and Sebastian Cabral is someone Alien should be using on a regular basis. I share your concern about issue 2…if portals start appearing with every C list character appearing just so it ties into the Valiants then I won’t be happy. Alien really needs to stick the landing on this one so fingers crossed.

@@southpawgrammer448 Exactly! One thing I did notice. Did you notice the change in quality for art on the last page? I think someone else drew the last page. What do you think?
@southpawgrammer448Ай бұрын
@@ComicDrops I didn’t notice but now you’ve mentioned it I agree, I think it is another artist.
