Been playing a Darklord deck as my first deck in Master Duel, still learning the ropes of modern yugioh but it's been fun! Darklords were my favorite archtype to try out in Duel Links (before the huge nerfs) and gotta say, just as fun here! Thanks for the decklist, I may have to try out this version!

If you want to make the deck slightly more consistent (it will be more expensive) I would run anaconda, starving venom, and triphyoverutum.

I love darklords art design and everything played them right away just out of flavour to realise oh man these are actually winning quite a lot. Dunno how difficulty is 6 stars tho it's a pretty easy deck to play. Simply get stuff in GY and active cards like most decks in Yugioh. Also sometimes it's just better to not even run Morningstar and the fusion part. I always love the fact they have multiple ways to search easy often games are like yeah you use ash on that but this turn I can still search 2 more times easy so unless your whole hand is ash? good luck.

Love darklords, actually use them irl and it's a vastly different build from this build. Shit u not everytime when i discard ixchel for her draw effect to discard her and superbia, I ALWAYS DRAW BOTH IXCHEL AND SUPERBIA AS IF NOTHING HAPPENED LMAO

Darklord despia is the best and consistent deck you can run. Eldlich sometimes locks your plays and thats mostly a game

Maxx C in this deck is...basically, when used at the right time, a straight way to make a damn good turn-one play I used it on a Galaxy-Eyes player, and he just kept special-summoning stuff, so I basically had everything I needed, for First Darklord, Condemned Darklord, and almost an entire board of monsters waiting to mess Galaxy-Eyes' day up, before my turn even started even, because they went first

Yeah that's Maxx c in any deck really. It's such an amazing going second card against combo decks. Either you'll have everything you need to fight back or they cut their combos short and you'll have a chance to do something.

Fun to see Darklords! Ngl, it was one of the first archetypes I went for in Master Duel. I'm using 3x Trade In, 2x Condemned Witch, 1x Forbidden Droplet, 1x Capricious Darklord to make it less bricky. Oh and 1x Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, plus a couple other Rank 8 XYZ's in the extra deck.

If you have a few extra spots in the extra deck, Gustav max into liebe is another solid combo. Burn for 2k with Gustav and then go liebe who can attack twice with 6k attack.

Darklord actually is a good going second deck.. If you built it as going second OTK you can get pretty good result since it synergize well with Forbidden Droplet and had easy access to total board wipe. Well going second is inherently disadvantageous tho and Darklord engine are way too bloaty to make a T1 going second deck so yeah there's that. A T1 Going second deck IMO at the very least should be able to put in at least 5 Kaijuu, Droplet/DRNM, and 3 copy of lightning storm to actually be competitive. I actually climbed through plat 2 with my Train XYZ deck that run 6 Kaijuu and Ra sphere mode.

I've never played Yu-Gi-Oh, but I immediately fell in love with the Darklord deck, but sometimes it feels really too difficult to play. For example at 10:30 The First Darklord says that you must use the Morningstar Darklord in order to wipe all of your enemy's board, and you didn't use him in the fusion. So how did you activate it?
