This kit was the first gundam model kit I've built. I know it's not a great beginner build but a Japanese friend of mine gave it to me for a birthday present. Admittedly, I made alot of rookie mistakes but one thing I can't seem to pull of is the gripping of the shield. I can't seem to get the hand's little helper fit with the slot on the shield handle. Wow amazing job with the review. I'm planning on getting one because my Red frame kai broke it's v-fin on the he'd. And seeing how this has the two leg slots for the katana's. I'm going to have this kit with 4 katana's and the tactical arms =)

Well yea that's how I have it posed and with the tactial arms in flight mode on it's back. So it looks really awesome. I'm more than happy with how it turned out well that considering my old MG Red frame kai broke lol

DemonLord Odin 1: I use sandpaper (not really sure if that's the correct english name for that thing) and knife to get rid of that extra plastic. 2: if you are a beginner, try the HGs. some recommendations would be things like Mk-II, Zaku from Thunderbolt (the one with really huge cannon), Jesta Cannon, and Gundam Exia.

Wo Defa Yea as I stated I just recently finished building my Dark Exia Matter gundam but I hate how cheap and flimsy HG feels, then again it might just be the model and type of gundam I got. I want something looks good(feels good) but also easy to build. I looked at what you recommended and the Jesta is pretty cool, not feelin the Zaku though, its too much hahaha

DemonLord Odin well, that is just how HG work: easy to build, but lack of much details. Check out Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode) and Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Destroy Mode), that might suits you. If you find a gundam that really catchs your eyes, but you don't want to build yourself, then see if robot spirits ( or robot Tamashii, whatever you want to call it) has it. They are HG size, but Bandai build it for you.

This version has almost everything the Kai has. Like he said in the review, except for a couple of pieces you can build most of the parts using the spares. for aesthetics, I definitely prefer this one.

this was my first MG build, i really like the looks of it, but i do wish i could tone the shoulder armour down and change out the feet for something a little smaller. i looked at this review and saw that it was close to it but you couldn't do it exactly, i great gunpla set anyways.

If you are still wondering, the hands are made up of a single thumb, a single pointer finger and the middle, ring and pinkie finger molded in one piece. Not my favorite type of hand, but when posing it is quite useful.
