Think about the perpetual items as your “assignments” you are giving yourself to do or plan for each month. What do you need to assign yourself to do or plan for each month to make it happen? You could technically schedule these items on your monthly view now for the entire year if that works for you. I typically wait and do my monthly planning two weeks or the last full week of each month for the following month. This helps me account for what is actively going on the month I’m planning for when it actually gets closer to said month. That way I don’t feel pressured because something was already written in and I couldn’t foresee what was actually happening in my life at the time.

Finally after searching every year for years for a video that would teach me truly how to plan . I seriously can’t thank you enough for sharing your knowledge with us and you have a great talent for teaching. I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve searched through and didn’t truly learn anything but how to decorate or what pens to buy or what paper is good to use but nothing absolutely nothing that compares to your Videos. Thank you 😊

@@raingalloro3620 you are so very welcome. Your words truly touch my heart. I know the production level isn’t all that great as I don’t have a proper KZbin set up, but it’s nice to hear that people are finding the quality in the content that is being presented. Thank you for sharing your kind words. And I hope my videos help take maybe a little bit of the anxiety and stress off you and everyone else when it comes to planning.

Great video! What else do you put in your happy planner if your personal rings is your daily driver?

@@CompassBlue thank you! I use my happy planner for my goals and project planning for the current year that I break down by quarter. You can see a peek at the process I believe in my June monthly planner set up video.

Just curious as to what else you keep in the notebook with your perpetual calendar....if you don't mind sharing. I've been trying to create a "control journal". Thanks!

@@akronrats hi! I keep my project break downs and monthly and quarterly planning sheets for my goals in this book. I call this book my “current year book.” I believe a show a little of it in my monthly June set up video on my channel. I will be showing more of it in a 2025 video. By control are you talking about keeping lists of house hold admin? I do have my finances in a separate project book and I have a binder set up for the house hold where I archive historical repairs and invoices and such. I might show it in a future video.

I’m not sure if you mentioned this in your video so I apologize if I missed it but can you use the perpetual year at a glance columns in the beginning of the Happy Planner to write it all out instead of boxes with each month ? Or are those to be used for something else? I’m so excited to get started now that you have given me a real functional place to start. You have lifted off a tremendous stress I go through every year with your videos. I look forward to seeing more. Do you have an email or can people message you for advice?
@plannerbeat7 күн бұрын
@@raingalloro3620 yes that is a great way to use the perpetual happy planner sheets. Just remember to look at those sheets. You can see I use this similar insert towards the end of the video and I call them “planning sheets.” I don’t have a lot of Dated stuff in my life so instead I use the year at a glance, which would be like the happy planner perpetual, for goal and project planning While still incorporating my master items on the list. You can easily use the perpetual in the happy planner in the same fashion, just ignore the dates on the side if you wish. For me the monthly master calendar is my schedule. It’s telling me what I HAVE to do at a minimum level to maintain my current lifestyle. When I get to the planning sheets these items are goal and projects and things I would be using to ENHANCE my life. Hopefully that makes sense. It’s going to be a trial and error process for you and it will be frustrating. But keep trying and tweaking until you find what works for you and your life. I am working on getting part 3 up as soon as I can. Hopefully that makes sense. As far as email I am currently not set up for one yet. But it sounds like a great idea.
