The beautiful thing about Black Sabbath is their versatility and their albums all sound different from one another. Can't wait til you review Volume 4.
@dedcowbowee9 ай бұрын
This, Volume 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and Sabotage are their peak in my opinion. it was a hell of a string for them. ✌✌
@jeffreylauzon76309 ай бұрын
@dedcowbowee I totally agree, those 3 albums you mentioned are my favorite and I rate them 1,1and1 because I can't decide which one is my favorite and which I would put in my 1,2 and 3 category. I have racked my brain over and over and finally gave up and put each album at 1,1 and1.

Into the Void, is in the conversation for heaviest tune and riff they ever did. The production on this album is as dense as a black hole. Sabbath Rules! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶

This album is so good. Musically, lyrically, the production and mix, everything is so good.

@@vicprovost2561 Yup - also I can tell you that I am now 60 years old so it's not like I'm some young kid who will have a change of mind. There will be two Black Sabbath songs played at my funeral & both of them off the Master Of Reality album; Into The Void & After Forever. Been a Black Sabbath fan since I was 14 years old.

@@rosiemason-rk4cm I can still remember buying the first album not long after it came out, 6 of us crammed into his bedroom and had their lives changed forever.

@@vicprovost2561 Sadly I was only 6 years old when the first album came out. It did, however, have a big impact on me when I did eventually get to hear it about 8 years after its release. Still the greatest debut album of all time imo.

Music really does heal. Sometimes, it's very hard to listen to a song, like Solitude, because it can force us to grieve, whether we want to or not. Black Sabbath is truly magical. Thank you for your reactions.

Did you guys notice how on Into the Void, Geezer would play along with Tony's guitar riffs and also play along with the drums, who else does that?

I love when you two get into Sabbath mode 🤘 Mike, Nasty is the best one word description for Into The Void 😎 Dev, I've seen people play air guitar and air drums for decades now. This was the first time I witnessed air drinking water from a wilderness river. Nice 🤙 You guys keep up the good work! 👍

Great reaction!! This was the first Sabbath album proper that I heard! Started with Sold Our Soul compilation. This album was complete stoner metal - heavy, trippy - just awesome!! My whole view of Sabbath was redefined after hearing Solitude - a real head space track - the flute by Iommi and Ozzy's 'beautiful' voice - perfection, and so, SO unexpected. It was not long after that I heard all of Paranoid, so after Planet Caravan - realized that Sabbath was capable of such a diversity of sound! Cheers!

Into the Void speaks of man leaving Earth for 'greener pastures' yet the music tells a different story as it would seem everywhere we go it starts all over again and we jump from place to place before resigning ourselves to the fact this is our nature yet we must survive and will continue these actions till judgement day.
