If you're planning to become a highly skilled food technology professional, the Master of Science in Food Technology is the most relevant learning environment for you. This interuniversity programme (KU Leuven, Ghent University) provides specialised multi-disciplinary professional food technology training, with an emphasis on post-harvest and food preservation engineering on one hand and food science and technology on the other. This two-year Master’s programme (120 ECTS) intends to equip future personnel with the technical and managerial knowledge, skills and attitudes required to successfully contribute to solving food security problems through production of safe and nutritious high-quality foods.
