This is some of the best content on "off shore" fishing I've seen! You really packed a lot of info into a relatively short video here. Im working with a single fish finder and often only find depth and water temp. LOL

I agree with his comment ☺️ your information was so detailed I felt like I was in the boat with you. Great video I'm definitely following your videos. Thank for a great video.😊

Thanks Nathan, I love this video, the behind the screen and explaining what you are looking for is making sense. Especially the little things not just the most defined point hits home. Please do more of those. I am trying to learn how to get away from the bank and my lake only has 1 or 2 really defined points that smack a newbie in the face and they are 40 -50 ft deep. I fish a typical SE PA reservoir.

Try finding shallower ones! Just because it’s offshore doesn’t mean it needs to be deep!

Thank you. Very helpful. I want to start fishing offshore so I can have other options besides just beating the bank. This and your other vid on electronics have given me a great start. Now to gain the experience.😊

Thanks Nathan. I'm a bank better most days but trying off shore more and more. Does the side scan show bass. I do see things around lay downs but still have no confidence it's bass.
@nathanquincefishing71222 жыл бұрын
Side scan usually will not show fish just structure!

Do you utilize google earth pro in correlation with navionics to help eliminate a lot of “dead” water? Is the 360 scan worth the additional cost for a novice angler? I’m looking to upgrade my electronics on my boat. Right now I only have 2D at the helm and down imaging on the bow.
@nathanquincefishing71222 жыл бұрын
I use both yes! And 360 is a game changer but only if you spend the time to learn it
@kennyhaworth9606 Жыл бұрын
Do you use two different graphs or do you just use the front graph as a monitor and wire it to your console
@nathanquincefishing7122 Жыл бұрын
2 different graphs

On the lake I'm on, if you idle in circles for even 5 minutes, you immediately get about 3 boats within casting distance around you. Fishing must be the most monkey see monkey do activity of all time.

Or it could be fisherman who can’t afford a $6000 electronics package on a serviceable boat/motor that he paid $2500 for and sees that you can. He’s probably got a set of binoculars on board in case a wants a better look see
@johnstrand2247 Жыл бұрын
@@kentyler966 Not me. I'm waiting for that $6000 package to come down to $399.00
