I've been dying to play the 1.6 update of Stardew Valley, so I figure it'd be fun to build together! Will be adding multiple shorter streams so we can make some decent progress on the farm and plathrough.

Love this game so much! Only played on switch. First time playing my boyfriend and I made our character and called them Big Willy. We thought this was just a dumb and silly name. Upon meeting Willy we mused on how he must feel with this new guy Big Willy moving to his small town. As time went on and fishing competition after fishing competition Willy lost to Big Willy, the choice took a poetically dark turn. Big Willy eventually romanced everyone in the community, their house grew huge and luxurious, their lands abundant. Willy remained out in his hut, his primacy as fisherman forgotten. What would he think about alone at night as the sea battered his tiny shack?

I've played on steam, and on the Xbox. I've purchased this game, like 4 times now, and have purchased it for multiple friends. It's such a cozy game for me. I always use a controller, mouse and keyboard seems so odd to use. Have any of y'all played Coral Island?

I love this game so much. I pick it up every couple of years and have been anticipating 1.6! I spent quite a while trying to fix my resolution in the game to avoid screen tearing when the camera moved.. I had to limit the fps to 60, it was the only fix. Changing the zoom and messing with the resolution, switching from Full screen to Window or Window Borderless made the problem worse 😂 So yeah, if anyone reading this has screen tearing issues, try limiting your fps in your graphics card settings.

Oh man it's crazy hearing you talk about Cane's. I grew up about 20 minutes from the original location at LSU! Now they're all over the country and I love that but also it's very weird to have one in Enfield, CT (about 20 mins from where I am now). Their food is pretty meh, but the chicken is thick and juicy, the sauce is pretty good, feed the fries to your chickens.

my only suggestion for mods (once they’re updated) is the one that lets you regain energy by sitting (or lying in bed but not sleeping). it’s SO useful!!!

FYI, to a great extent, ASMR ought to be viewed through the lens of nuerodivergence (and probably autism specifically). Like everything, it's been co-opted by the mainstream and turned into something that perhaps disregards its origins. Virginia Woolf was onto this phenomenon a century ago.

omg I am so sad I MISSED THIS STREAM. But honestly it was because I was playing the first 15 days of spring in Stardew Valley XD I got it on steam at first but eventually got it on the switch so I could take it with me and play on lunch breaks ect. I'm back playing on steam again to dig into the update, but I miss being able to suspend the game at any time like I can on switch. It's nice to not have to complete a full stardew day just to save and step away.

Also Elliot is and always will be my fav Husband. He is emotionally expressive and romantic and a lot of us are missing that in our lives. The character is portrayed as a bit superficial at first but so are a lot of the other characters before you actually get to know them. Plus he also left a dead end job in the city to follow his dreams, just like you did to take care of the farm.

Why would they suddenly think they need to more than double the price for it? And you can pretty much get game pass ultimate for free every month with the Microsoft rewards.
