That is a really nice looking truck in my opinion. Everytime I see you do one these type of videos I want to start singing, "Come on baby, let's do the twist." Be thankful that none of y'all can actually hear me sing. Even my dog looks at me funny when I do. 😂

I am peterbuilt through and through. I have around 700000 miles on a pete 379 and she never left me stranded. What a great truck! I cant say enough about how she did me right. She was a counterweight truck with a flatbed installed on an extended frame. She had a cat engine and she pulled the crane out of the mud and got me theough the mud and clay time after time. She was affordable and you could depend on her day after day. Looking back, i have many fond memories of her being reliable and stout. Im thankful for the time i got to spend in her. It was a great truck. I have absolutely no ill feelings towards her and i spent a lot of time in her and i was responsible for her maintenance and care. I cant say enough about how great a truck she was. Never let me down.

I was assigned a 379 that was all most new (58,000 miles) in 2005, I hated that truck until it got its first alignment. I had to complain about how bad that truck would walk around and be a hand full to keep on the road, it would pull to the right hit a bump and pull to the left hit a rut and dance back and forth. I talked with some older drivers and they would tell me it wasn't right and mention one thing and they were right. and the shop that did the alignment took a pretty solid 8 hours to fix that one thing (well more than just one) - but once fixed that truck was one of the best trucks I ever drove. Care to guess the problem?

I'm 59 and broke my butt knuckle when 46 ... now my adventures are light weight. When in Ohio I helped a friend put in a semi tranny , another time broken front leaf... how do u break that big a leaf spring......he let me ride along delivering tires for Western tire..that was fun as hell slingen tires out the trailer...it was in early springish and we were coming through Detroit area ,the road was so rough it made the cab like a paint shaker,l couldn't believe everything on the dash floated in mid air a inch to one and a half including the revolver,if I tried to put my arm on the arm rest I probably would have punched myself....that trip explains the broke front leaf...what a ride....thank you for the awesome truck stuff 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾😎(stray cats)😎

I've always been the person that only lets on technician work on my vehicles especially when it comes to line ups and the same is for my frame work I find who is the best and I stay with them ! It might cost more but I don't like those who half ass their work ! Although I don't drive a Semi I do have a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram with the 5.9 Cummins 2002 yr. And it was involved in a pretty serious accident and I had to have some framework done so I hunted tge best in Kingsport Tenn. It paid off costed a bit but paid off in the long run still driving the truck today ! So you would be a technician I'd would want working on my Semi if I owned one ! Professional is what I call your work ! 👍👍

Close. 379 came out in '88 model year. 359 was last built in' 87. Both good trucks. If you want to confuse people, 359 had 3 hood lengths. And 379 had 2. Standard hood 359, is same length as short hood 379. Extended hood 359 and 379 are same length. And if memory serves me correctly, the 359 short hood is 113". Other 2 are 119 and 127".
