I believe in making my own bed the instant I get out of bed. It starts the “getting things done” mindset and takes 30 seconds. Before you weenies jump all over me, we have a housekeeper that comes 3 days per week...and I still do it (other than the day she strips the bed to wash the sheets...every Monday)

you dont' need a lot of money to dress nicely, you can buy dress shirt for 20$ and get it tailored for 7-10$ now you have a nice clean shirt that looks custom made. Same for dress pants. Now and days you can get a blazer or suit from H & M for 50-60$. Getting it tailored is the key, it may not last a long as a higher quality suit but you will look sharp non the less.

Those are called ' loafer socks.' They are invisible to the eye when wearing loafers but help to keep your feet from sweating and add more longevity to your shoes. A worthwhile option if you plan on wearing shoes with no socks.
