This was one of the first shots that cane naturally to me when I started playing pool in '93.people always asked how and what did i do. I always said that the ABS braking system kicked in. Also I've found the closer to the target ball the abs kicks in, the more energy is transferred to target ball with less roll on the white, which is excellent on preventing a scratch etc. This is also the first video of this shot I've ever seen. Thanks Terminator. Frank Penny

I think nobody on youtube or even on the whole of social media combines the intricate physics of the game and the ease of learning like you, Niels. It is undeniable that you are the best coach that any pool player would love to be under your wings, whether they were an amateur or a professional. I've only been playing pool for 2 years and I strongly believe that your videos have helped me massively in my technique. A lot of my friends at the pool hall are always shocked when they find out I've only been playing for such a short time, and I think that's thanks to you and your amazing videos. Cheers, Yousef M, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

I gotta tell you Neils this is the best video I've seen in a long time. This is some great advanced stuff. I've been playing for over 30 years and never thought of using a drag shot to get extra spin on a slow ball. Since you made this I've already used this like 10 times in games to do stuff that wasn't possible before. It's great for safeties as well as getting the ball to move way more off the rail than I could before. Thank you so much. This is great.

Thanks Neils. Yours and Dr. Dave's are, by far, the best videos on pool instruction out there. Thanks for detailing many of the fine points of the drag stoke - a real "Efren specialty" as were all his spin shots that helped him to rarely need power strokes to achieve position. I've found the most challenging part of the stroke is "feeling" the amount of and timing of the swerve effect when combining it with lots of sidespin over a long distance. Boy, it really feels good when I can pull those off, sweet. Thanks again, Thomas Meyer, Connecticut, USA
