My problem is always trying to take what I know from value studies and applying it to color. I hate the look of taking a grayscale piece and applying a color layer. It almost never turns out how I want. So I'm at this weird spot where I can manage grayscale rendering, but immediately get lost when I have to do it with color instead. It's frustrating

Her arts look like it just uses 3D models as bases then do some rendering on top of it

For the backgrounds i kind of agree, but then thats still extremely impressive since she has so many different backgrounds, its just as much work to model them than to paint from scratch. For the characters i dont think so. Given how skilled she is, using 3d models as a base for characters wouldnt really save her any time or effort at all, probably the opposite.

It blows my mind. Even if the author used 3D backgrounds, 3D models and even 3D models with the exact same faces and exactly the same props how is this even possible? Every frame is extremely detailed and the episodes are long too. And this is coming from a concept artist myself and still don’t understand how… I have mad respect for the author and absolutely obsessed with this comic.

Zhang Jing is also my number 1 inspiration when it comes to art. I don't want to be like other peeps but when I first came across/seen Aisha, is when it's just starting. I was rlly captivated by her artstyle and also because there's no much info about them it's also hard for me to study their art and there's a time that I wanna gatekeep Aisha but now I'm glad that more and more peeps is recognizing Zhang and Aisha. 😭😭❣️
