at least they buffed the dmd to 45 from 41.. the ttk is a bit slower, but from my calculations, instead of 0.9 secs, it takes 1 sec to down a medium with body shots, and the recoil is easier now so there's that (and 2 shot lights with headshots)

This is a good light guide on aggression. How about the times you are forced to play passive/defensive? Like if other teams are doing the same/similar things?

I disagree this is was a sort of passive light style. A true agressive light style would be like dagger/double barrel shotgun with grapple.To answer you question though, just apply what he was saying to defense like having cloak on and roaming around cashouts. While your team is holding the fort down you try and take a off-angle on any team that pushes you.

I'm one of the few players (it seems) who take a passive approach when playing as light. My speciality on a team is using speed and cloack to swipe the cash boxes and set up the cashouts, stealing others cashouts quickly and discreetly, using the glitch grenade to shut the down a tech operation and tactial use of the stun gun to stop steals on our cashouts. When in competition as a light, I avoid the mass shootouts and let the heavies/mediums lead that, supporting from the back with invisible assists and pyro/smoke bombs. I only engage in direct confrontation if I have to and can quite easily go a round with only 1 or 2 kills, or even zero, despite mass contribution to our win by securing those cashouts and stealing somebody elses in the final seconds to keep us in the game. If I'm playing heavy, totally differant approach - I'm leading battles from the front and racking up 15+ kills per round.

940th subscriber :) looking forward to your journey! Also don't forget it's not always about the meta, try running sword + cloak + goo + smoke you can create unique angles and stay hidden around obj. But sword or dagger is very hard to play, especially against any heavy. Countering light users with taser makes it so you can catch up to them, adding another viable utility for the taser

Another thing about the glitch grenades, it not only disables current used utility but scrambles the hud of the affected players as well as disables all and any abilities that havent been used for a set amount of time, think its 5 seconds in total.

What’s your thought on breach charge for flex slot? I like them for how versatile they are, being lights only terrain destroying gadget and combined with arena combustibles you can basically get gas and pyro grenades out of it. I just really like frags too though so idk which to give up. Currently running stun gun, frag and breach charge because I didn’t know what glitch grenades did but.
