I was mainly messing with the preset bass times out of the box after getting my pedalboard situated. Love the SVT ones. I was starting to play around with some custom ones to check out the GK stuff and various effects then I realized it had gotten later than I thought and it was bed time. 🤣

Can this be plugged in direct via USB to computer with out an Amp to send sound to a recording software such as Audacity or pro tools etc. ? Or does it need to be run through an Amp and then through a mixer into computer ?

So it can be plugged in directly via USB to record. All you need is this and a USB cable. I can’t remember if it comes with one or not. But yeah you don’t need anything else

Do I need to download some kind of software to be able to program the stomp or do these amps, presets, and sounds all come with it and I can program it directly from the pedal otu the box without some kind of software?

You can program it directly from the pedal. I am not sure what firmware they ship with these days though…. HX Edit is a free software that makes editing the HX Stomp so much better

Is there a tutorial that will go through snapshot completely and VERY SLOWLY?!? All of them go through it way too fast and for someone who is tech challenged, it’s aggrevating as F! Otherwise I’m just gonna sell it.

@@ryansnydercgIt seems strangely that these stomp tutorials assume that I can think, see, digest information that is simultaneously shot out of shotgun. There were times when to were typing a zillion millions an hour with both hands. My eyes went one way, my comprehension went another and my mind decided just to ignore. You’d have to be cognitively able to assimilate info in a massively quick pace. Sorry but I got absolutely nothing out of this. Slow it down from 212mph to 60mph maybe that’d help

This is NOT a beginner tutorial. The device has a horrible learning curve. I pick it up and try it for a couple of weeks. I get confused and put back in the closet and go back to my XT Live.
