Nice video. I did macrame plant hangers for years and have recently been playing with doing bracelets. I wanted to see how an experienced jewelry maker was finishing this off. The knot you made is called a square knot. When you repeat the same direction instead of switching it's called a half square. It's used to create a spiral instead of a flat squared off section. You could use the half square to make a long section of a bracelet 😊

Thanks for watching! The ends are finished with a single bead. The same beads as were used in the rest of the bracelet. Then there is a knot tied on each side of the bead to keep it in place.

The bracelets are lovely. It would have been much easier to see if everything had been cliipped or taped down to a board. Also, the cord to make the knot should be (and was) longer than 6 inches. I find that at least 10 inches are needed so that you have something to hold on to. Thank you for showing all the variations and designs.
