Personal experience- you can spin however you want, since the defender won't expect you to spin that's the point of spinning, however the more your opponent recognizes your move, you have to try more tricky moves with your spin otherwise they can predict if you're gonna spin.

Keep in mind the more advanced his comp becomes the more he’s going to need to be faster and smoother than the video just displayed. This video was how I was taught years ago as a child. The modern game is different. Such as when they used to tell us to align our feet towards the rim no matter what lol. Now every single shooter does and teaches the exact opposite.

At speed you bounced it twice with your left left hand during the move but when your teaching it you do one then switch?

Tips keep your foot together no to close just like when your standing straight and don't lean only use your legs to spin and keep your ball close remember don,t let your ball lose remember in a game always watch out

Ay I got a question so I was doing a 1v1 with my friend and I did this move where I dribbled and then spinned with two hands and fadeaway and I made it and he called a carry is that a carry?

Thats a turn move old school style, they taught us this when we dribble up the court against full and half court pressure. Not a spin, its that bob cousy, john Stockton package move.
