Very nicely done video you guys! I appreciate the detail, organization and multiple camera angles that went into your presentation of the two-hand backhand dink. The out takes at the end, you guys are funny. Who's idea was that to include out takes? And love watching you play Catherine especial with ALW.

Awesome lesson. I'm committed to my twoey and have been working at it. This looks like something I can do. I love it when I rip a twoey dink that my opponent cannot handle or even get to. Thanks!

Hi Catherine. Really enjoy your content. I took up pickleball recently. Two questions. Do you use your eastern grip for most shots (or do you rotate to a more continental grip for some shots?) and do you drop your paddle head down to brush the ball on a topspin two hand backhand drive? Thanks so much!! My pup and I are always rooting for you!
@CatherineParenteauPB6 ай бұрын
Welcome to the world of Pickleball! I use an Eastern grip for most of my shots. It is whatever you feel more comfortable with though. Also the lower the ball is, the more I will drop the paddle head to hit a backhand drive. Hope this helps!

Pls bless us w/ a 2HBH video (drops & drives). You’re arguably the best in the world @ it.

Great video. Best I have seen on the two hand backhand topspin dink. Question, is the opposite true on the forehand topspin dink where u want to make contact just outside our right leg w most of weight on right leg?
@CatherineParenteauPB6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! To your question: not necessarily because this is not a shot you are hitting with two hands.

Interesting , you say you use eastern grip on right hand, thought it would be continental, so you would be ready for a forehand too at the net ?
@CatherineParenteauPB7 ай бұрын
That's a complicated answer, but we used to recommend everyone use Continental but realized that a lot of people coming from a Tennis background prefer using Eastern. It’s really more about a preference and what you feel comfortable using.
@kcarwen52626 ай бұрын
@@CatherineParenteauPB I see thanks for the response. Really enjoy watching you play, I saw you do a great backhand roll and back hand flick in the same point, was really impressive to see how many shots you can pick from and own. Also love the channel, keep the tips coming 😁
