This just goes along very well with my therapy sessions. I just recently learned that I am a perfectionist, in the bad sense of the word, meaning that I will not do something I know I won't do perfectly, which is most of things. With that mindset I just never do anything and I get frustrated a lot instead of just focusing on actually doing the damn thing, that being photography, running, studying, etc. Thank you for your video, I appreciate this kind of content so much.

It’s great to be reminded about 1% improvement a day, and “treat things like mini projects”. Those ideas speak to me. Another tip I don’t think you mentioned: don’t beat yourself up if you fail at making small iterative improvements all the time. Sometimes, you get tired and and lazy and yah. It happens. When the laziness phase is over, just start up again. Beyond the hard work, I do think there’s some sort of calling that we get from our inner self that pushes us to do stuff and make a mark in the world (doesn’t necessarily have to be a “creative art”).

It’s fun that I’m seeing this video now, cause this philosophy just finally clicked for me last week. Seeing someone talk about is very reassuring! By the way, can you tell me how that little edit keyboard you use is called ? Thanks!

Thank you! Excellent content - and motivating :) ! So much more useful to someone like me, just trying to grow in their photography day by day, vs. many other photography channels out there. Subscribed.

I think you should focus more on photography and less on KZbin. Just a friendly advice.

I don't think so, everyone has their own personal priorities and I don't see your comment as a friendly advice.
