Master Wartales Professions: Expert Tips & Strategies!

Hey as a new Wartales player I've found your videos very helpful. However there is one topic i haven't seen any other content creator discuss: Recruiting faction NPC's. I can't even find any up-to-date lists about faction bonuses, unique skills and gear combos on reddit or other forums. As in, a comprehensive guide on the faction skills, which units of their roster could work well with those faction skills, which weapon/shield/helmet skills could make the unit work. All the old posts just mention the Wrongdoer, which ofc, is a solid pick. But it would be cool to know which units have unique skills: Like i didn't know the Outlaw Pikeman can give you the supported status with him alone. If it's possible to build a unit from the Tiltren Guard that somehow utilizes attacks of opportunity to its fullest extent with what gear? How to make the most out of the Inquisition faction bonus? If it's possible to build an evade off-tank with the Crewman from the Merchants faction?

There used to be a super-detailed guide made by a modder on the steam forums but some drama between him and the developers caused him to take it down. Let me try and do some digging and I’ll try and get a video out on a list of the unique passive prisoners.

do any of the bonusses stack if i have more people with the same profession ? woodcutter wood on forest rest, cook food reduction, cook fatigue reduction, tinkerer better repairs

Bonuses stack for profession specific ones. Having multiple master cooks active will reduce your food consumption. You just can’t have multiple professions active on the same unit at the same time.

Extremely new player here, how do you unlock the "knockout" ability to capture refugees? I know their health has to be below half and have to use chains. This part confuses me.

The refugee needs to be engaged in combat by someone that isn’t the person using ‘knockout’ and you need a pair of chains in your inventory. If you’re playing co op, the chains need to be in the inventory of the person doing the capturing.

@@victorbmtts the bar is made by leveling up your alchemist profession. It may also require you to have crafted rimesteel before. As for the armor you’ll unlock the recipe by crafting rimesteel gear with a leveled up blacksmith.
