This video speaks to the very core of what I’ve been helping a client understand-the importance of owning your life and taking responsibility for your personal journey. The way you unpacked the Prodigal Son’s parable and King Arthur’s legend struck a chord with them, as they too have been on a journey of self-discovery after losing sight of their own value. The idea that you must lose yourself before you can truly find yourself is something they’re coming to terms with, and your explanation of this through timeless narratives was inspiring. This was more than just a video-it was a guide to reclaiming one’s power and identity. Thank you for such a thoughtful and impactful piece of work!

The father, the prodigal son, and the brother are all within. Your life is a wrestling match between your conscience, your ego, and your fear. Your conscience is the voice that invites you to be your most courageous, most authentic, most excellent self. Your ego invites you to sacrifice everything for acceptance. Your fear invites you to sacrifice everything for safety. Align your decisions and actions with your conscience. That’s the game, and you’re in it, mate. You are enough, and you always have been. When you embody courage, authenticity, and excellence you are enough to face whatever life throws at you.

"Don't hate the player, hate the game" is like saying don't hate people, hate the world. It's a false choice, you don't have to hate anything or anyone. Here is my favorite bumper sticker slogan that means basically the same thing, but does not have the word "hate," which you appear to take offense to. "Beat the system, not the people." Cheers. :) :) :)

the best description of what the sword represents as it stuck in the stone and bestows kingship, is actually the engraving on the stone. The element of conquering ego "that which you say in your tongue, I take from it as I take it up, and I cast it away as from what little I've gotten." take it up and cast it away. Both are degrading of the neighbour's speech. It represents how we listen to and talk about someone else's speech. It's like saying we only ever say bad things about each other, because we are neighbours and competing on the same level.

Content like This should 1000% be played at schools!!!! So much important information!!!! We need to get kids thinking and understanding social media and materialistic things from a new perspective!! Everything on our phones and these screens are just fighting for our attention and money!! And people are giving sooooo much of their time away to these companies that have them hooked on their screens it’s so bad and crippling to peoples lives!!! 😭. We need a societal awakening to social media and screen time in general!! These screens have only been around for less than 50 years of the existence of our world and only 20-30 years where they have been capable of taking over our full everyday lives! This is such a small percentage in time to the overall existence of the world!!! 🥶And it’s been extremely rapidly increasing since the start of smartphones and social media!!!!! It’s all so much more toxic than we all know 😭🙌🏻🌊🍀🌱 If this comment gets 1000 likes I will actually start going to schools to give speeches showing videos like these spreading as much awareness as possible and I will add a link (to this comment section) of me at my first school speech! I feel some sort of gut feeling in my heart that I am meant to do that for some reason!!! 🙌🏻🌊🍀

The point to the parable of the prodigal son was that Jesus accepts you for where you are, as long as you return home to him. Some Christians, the holier than thou type, are the older son who feels the “degenerates” don’t deserve forgiveness. Guy Ritchie’s takeaway a very creative reimagining of the overall message.
