Very helpful video! Where did you get the formula for find the Z component of the COG? Is there a specific textbook or other resource you referenced?

There are a number of books, but the one I like is Race Car Vehicle Dynamics by William F. Milliken. It's not the cheapest book, but extremely detailed

Hey ! Great video. I am facing a problem with finding/knowing the axle weight front/rear (Mercedes w124 E200 1993). Is there any way to calculate them since I can not find the axle weight anywhere ? Cant calculate the CoG without them, obviously. Thank you

G'day mate, There isn't a way that I know of to calculate the axle weight from the car weight if you don't know the CoG. Some options, You can weigh it yourself, take it somewhere to weigh it, or you can use a bathroom scale and some wood to do each wheel individually. If you don't want to do that, you could look at similar cars, see where their CoG is located, take an average, and calculate it from that. But that's not going to work too well if you have or are planning on modifing it. Let me know if you find a way
