Now I realize how important vocal phrasing is. I think that even if the vocal technique is not perfect but you have a good phrasing, at least in CCM, a singer can transmit a lot to the audience and in the end that's what it's all about, at least for me. Another great video. On KZbin there are many channels about singing in which they only talk nonsense, without any scientific basis. I don't understand why this channel doesn't have a hundred times as many followers. Probably because that is not your main goal, but to make us all better singers. I learn a lot from you, thanks for that Karyn.

Consider Bob Dylan. It's not his vocal technique that makes him so great. It's the phrasing that gives him his style and that's his identity. He's not pretty, but he's original. He's a story teller with a unique way of phrasing.

That’s really bad. You TALK WAY TOO MUCH. More examples and singing please. It’d be MUCH helpful. You spent 30 seconds on examples which is good and the rest 9 mins on talking ‘bout nothing. You’re nice person and seems like you can sing though.
