What an interesting boat build. A boat intended for use in harbor and coastal areas. It is relatively light weight, uses a smaller hp engine of about 7 to 40 hp, has a panga hull form designed specifically for the environment this boat is constructed for and operates in. This boat is not an expensive center console monster horsepower fast boat. It’s an affordable, inexpensive functional utility boat. It can give years of useful service to its owner for minimal cost. And since it has a large amount of foam used in its construction, it looks like it has a good amount of positive reserve buoyancy in case it gets damaged and flooded with water. And when damaged, it will be simple to repair. A very useful and minimal maintenance boat.

Mate.. these boat are professional fishing boats used even 50+ mile offshore, I live in West Africa and we have even more primitive looking timber 12 meter kayak style pirogues with huge timber in the base 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep... the boats are over a tonne and run routinely with 15hp Yamaha outboards... and going usually 20 to 60 mile offshore pulling in Marlin and 5 ft yellowtail tuna on hand lines..(in the right season)... no crazy laws like the western world... but we feed the western world with our fish exports.. 😊 good luck, be happy

sea worthy it is not; for it does not have a deep vee astern,and will break your bones if slamming on waves; but it will be great for calm waters, it is long and narrow,it will be economical on fuel; i'd be a buyer too

You must not know anything about boat building? I can point out dozens of mistakes, any one of which will result in rendering that vessel un-seaworthy, but I'll just mention the most glaring. He cracked the hull in several places removing it from the mold!

@@mohamedsheikh6618 Hi - I think you have the beginning of a strong boat. I would put a second or third layer of fiber glass on it and it would be very much like a commercially made boat. My nephew was in the USN off the Horn and saw these types at sea 30-40 klicks out with 3 or 4 man crews. Yes they are primitive, but all the elements of a boat are there and glass enclosed. I don't think they will last 100 years but who knows. Suggest u look at the videos, especially the one with the 10-12 foot hammerhead shark. Just sayin.

@@mohamedsheikh6618 Fiberglass layered in resin is strong enough to stop a 9mm bullet with only 12mm of thickness. The hull of this boat has at least 50mm, it can hold the weight of about 7 people without breaking. It's cheap, lightweight and safe.

Para hacer laminados de mejor calidad es recomendable quitar las burbujas de aire que van quedando al impregnar con la resina con un rodillo metálico que vienen para eso al igual que el molde que cubren con cinta debería estar pulido , brillante, con varias capas de cera y separador como el alcohol polivinilo para que no se adhiera y poder sacar la pieza sin cortar las esquinas, esto es solo un aporte, gracias por el vídeo, buen trabajo!!! saludos desde Uruguay, Sudamérica.

@@IgnacioRamirez-m1g la pintura ideal es el gelcoat que contiene resina poliester, aerosil (sílice impalpable), pigmento, estireno parafinado, etc., se puede hacer casera o comprarla pronta para usar, no es muy nivelante y el ideal es pintar a pistola por fuera, en el interior a rodillo o pincel, en el exterior primero se pinta el molde y luego de secar se enfibra y la resina poliester debe de ser marina porque es más elástica, saludos

Well said! Take the average western clever dick out of their protected environment and they are like a fish out of water. Most of these critics would be helpless trying to make a living in places like this, but these lovely folks seem happy, relaxed and contented. I love them. There will always be pointless armchair KZbin critics, full of their own cleverness and importance but utterly useless when it counts. THESE folk are the people I like and respect, those who make something wonderful from very little except their ingenuity and resourcefulness. And by the way, the organic nature of these boats is part of the beauty of areas like this. I don't want to see hugely expensive, flashy American factory fishing boats, taking all the fish from the sea and leaving nothing for the future, just to make the payments to loan company for the boat. These folk are far wiser than any critics. Bless their dear hearts.

I’ve ridden in many many boats that were built like this. They’re used for everything on the Isle of Cologne in Panama. They’re used like busses for the masses, but on the water. Rough as hell though. But this may be due to the fact that the guy operating the motor knows one setting, wide open balls out haul ass no matter what the sea conditions.
