Dying Light 2. One of my personal most anticipated games of this year…and last year… and the year before, But here we are, and I’m sorry this video took so long to get up but there’s a lot to do in this game and I wanted to do as much as possible. So…this game was basically my life for the past two weeks. Now I was a pretty big fan of the first game I played it twice and I had just replayed it about a month ago to refresh my memory for dying light 2, and see all the changes and additions they made for this game. And for the most part the new changes were great for me in Dying Light 2. This isn't true, if I enjoy a game enough I will gladly pay full price for it. In fact there are some games where I enjoy watching OTHER people play them so much I then purchase them anyway even though I no longer need to play them myself. A good example of this was the Stanley parable -> I bought it purely because of how great I thought it was having watched other people play it, it deserved my money. I am a big fan of pirate something then pay for it later if you enjoyed it philosophy.

The nights in 2 are so much brighter than 1, and there is way less zombies at night. I don't know but the whole games vibe feels easier and less horror related. Also the lack of nightmare mode and the insane AI tracking it brings is a major bummer.

I cant put it down, mastering the parkour mechanics and mixing combat with the environment and parkour has been an absolute blast, its buggy at times and most of the story isnt the best written, but the pure fun from traversal in a map perfectly made for it, has got me head over heels

One thing that i dont like about DL2 is weapon swing feel/animation. In the OG DL, light weapon can stuck and not go all the way through a zombie and that was very well done and ''realistic''. In DL2 we have literally one swing animation on repeat, left right left right left right.

I'm about half way through Dying Light 2 and am really enjoying it.The game plays really well and the crafting is so much better to me.Not having guns makes a really nice change aswell and being a horror fan I love the gore

there is an easter egg in the game that has an exploit you can use to get a super op gun which you can fire all you want lol.

If you didn’t play DL1 give it a go and pray you don’t have the game breaking bugs some people have. If you played and loved the first game then honestly don’t play DL2! It’ll be a huge disappointment.

Too bad so much content and story were cut. I was excited for this based on the trailers which showed a very different game and much larger story with actual choices. The whole underwater city is cut from the game, multiple factions, not just three (two really), more decisions that shape the world unlike the bland illusion of choice you make.. The Dying Light 2 they released is alright, but not what I thought it would be.

Only thing I don't like from the second is the melee combat is less satisfying in the second. Like it's still good, but they removed the x ray effects and its a little lame how the zombies have the same animation when hit. Overall though, yeah better than the first 1 imo

100 percent worth is I loved the first game one of my favourite games the first one is a zombie game with parkour this is more like a parkour game with zombies but I'm really enjoying it

I've been on the fence with DL2, I really liked DL1 until it came to bring forced into going out at night, it stressed me out to the point of not wanting to play, and Im still hesitant about pulling the trigger on 2 tbh. Any advice from anyone about that?

Dying light 2 is a walk in the park compared to the first game. Not once was I scared too much at night its bright as hell and as long as you stay on the roofs nothing will touch you. They made the game very easy combat and movement wise its more of a rpg looter game than survival horror like the first

Personally I think that people should just wait for a sale. I have over 100 hrs on this and can say that the game is fun to play but wouldn’t play it for the story . That’s why waiting for a sale is probably the best idea as imo a game needs a good story to be worth full price. Plus the audio is very buggy as it is delayed and sometimes just doesn’t work overall I would give the game a 6.5 out of 10 story was just so headbanningly boring and dry

Its not as good as you think it is. Fetch Quests, tons of boring parkour quests which are more frustrating than anything else. Lazy Game design, absolutely BORING sidequests most of the time. My personal biggest issues are the quests. And how absolutely not threatening the world is cause your character is just OP AF. Worst new mechanic is the paraglider. I can mash the button, it just doesn't react. Movement sucks really bad. I hate it.

Fuck this game. Spent 64 damn hours exploring in old villedor and downtown then went back to old villedor and now stuck there and can’t fast travel downtown or paraglide in because the new stupid ass updates make it so when u paraglide in it says “Leaving mission zone “ and restarts you in 3 seconds. And also ton of bugs and not much new from the first one ...but a damn glider ... combat is boring asf you literally do two attacks along w a block and dodge and kick w a few upgrades ...Its decent at best . There is actually a gun you can use. It is called the Boomstick. It is a limited shotgun pistol that you can buy as a blueprint later in the game. It is limited to 2-3 shots, so use it wisely.

Honestly I am not very interested in this game. It's not really my type of game but...that main theme is INCREDIBLE. That theme is a 10/10, really gets my adrenaline going and is one of the most epic main themes for a videogame I think I've heard. This and Elden Ring, both games with incredible main themes that get you hyped just listening to them.

i didn’t watch any reviews or watched the gameplay on YT. I purchased the game i played it for 10 min and i instantly felt this does not feel like DL1. its cartoonish and too bright, no blood like 1. I instantly regretted buying it. but i will give it a try

Dying Light 2 is… (I played on PS5 btw) Is not a good game in terms of quality. Some of the biggest problems were: Aiden will grab onto a ledge whenever he feels like it, I had to corrupt the game files then reset them just to get the final boss to spawn, I had enemies who blocked my attacks with there hands as if they had a weapon and then draw their weapon, I had a wrecking ball who had an invisible wrecking ball.

This game is shit, spend hours finding inhibitors to level up your health and it makes no difference, you still die in 2-3 hits from an enemy. Fighting humans is way harder than it should be, if there’s more than one human coming at you you’re fucked. Fuck knows how you’re supposed to take over a settlement solo, this game is clearly made for co-op.

Gonna wait for the complete edition to eventually come out, just hope that's not like 3+ years from now lol. I really hope they find a way to bring Kyle back into the story somehow. The Following's ending just left such a bad taste in my mouth, they did my boy dirty :( Not happy about guns being removed, but I can understand why given the setting. Stealth being more viable and the ability to block and parry are huge, wow.

Personally like the first dying light and I believe it's better than the second one, the first dying light gave us a connection to the characters and especially the one character that got killed and you felt something for them, unfortunately I personally don't care for the second and to me I still haven't bought it and probably won't for awhile.
