I thought Taylor was a female, so would they be a she not a he, I mean yeah it is a gender neutral name like a few others but the Taylor in the video is a woman. If I was on this show but the UK one, I'd likely be the first out as I am not exactly creative when it comes to cooking plus there are just some foods I can't taste due to my ADHD affecting my sense of taste. Here's something I found to be a running theme in Masterchef, be it US or Canada, it's that the season winner would always have a terrible dish or two throughout their run

To be fair, Lynn knew he screwed up, so I think he expected the judges to be very harsh with their critiques
