Guys I agree with you but one important thing has to be clear as well: pizza is from Napoli and it's local dish. Of course in Italy you can find a lot of shitty pizzas if you are in Milan, Rome, Venice and in Florence but in Napoli it won't happen. The authentic Napoletan pizza considers the dough as the most important element but for the toppings you can put whatever you like except Ananas 🍍 of course 😊

@@silviomak great, but it's just fun that here in Cracow i've got better pizzas(neapolitan, than in almost entire north italy where i've been for 10 days, and this makes comments about italian prudery pathetic. I know that napoli pizza is local dish, but there are tons of other great pizza styles and it's very hard to find when everything what is offered is yeast and thick. But i can say tho, ingredients like meat in Italy are amazing. I know Italy is core of pizza etc etc, my point is that nobody profane it as much as italians(yea pineapple, u are not counted) due to that fact it's offered everywhere in any form.

Andy H No man it’s just that you can make a pizza in an hour. It needs to rest at least a couple of hours (a whole day would be better). It’s like saying you have 10 min to make a cake. People can’t make a good cake in 10 min because it’s never gonna be cooked by that time. Plus wtf are those toppings. Gross. Even if they had time, you don’t handle a pizza like that. @James Laing I mean, what we call pizza is American pizza. You would never see it like that in Italy. Just like Taco Bell and Panda Express. Though to be fair, I don't think any culture takes more pride in their food than Italians. You go to Korea or Japan and they think its cool. Same with most cultures. Food is an art, but it doesn't have to be one way. It can change, and it does. People bring foods across continents where they share their recipes. Because of availability most dishes have to change ingredients. They mix with local cuisines and become a new version. Or, sometimes they get fast "fooderized".

When he said "If you underestimate how difficult it is to make pizza your already losing" I smiled and agreed. I have eaten alot of pizza in my life. Mostly pepperoni pizza and I can agree. Pizza is so different even if the ingredients the same. Me personally the perfect pizza is nice and crunchy on the bottom and has a golden look on the bread. While the pizza itself is crunchy the top is nice and soft and is easy to bite and just perfect. Theres a pizza in Tj swamp meet that is the best pizza. In my opinion.

I would of took ricotta and mixed it with chopped mushrooms and oregano with a dash of mustard powder. Then caramelized bacon bites sautéed in duck sauce , then added goat cheese and topped with bread crumbs and chopped spinach. I make it all the time at home. It’s bomb!
