No he didn't. He didn't have to give her the pep talk that she needed. He didn't have to tell her to stop doubting herself and that she was good at what she does. But he did. That's what makes him awesome
@Rixoli

This, from what i've heard-seen on various other videos on here she was stomping the competition in some cases, but this was a subject that is not familiar to her. Despite being blind (A SERIOUS handicap in some ways when cooking as many use all their senses, sight in particular, to gauge when something is ready), she presented an amazing dish. Chef Ramsay may be a dickhead, but it's because he is passionate about what he does. Gamers; craftsmen; Programmers or more all get passionate about what they do in many cases because they enjoy what they do. When they see someone trying their best, most will (Barring the screamo COD stereotype) do what they can to help others because for all our bullshit and "Me me me", people are at their core selfish, sure. In spite of that we can admire when people dig in and try to succeed and want to help others to do something awesome.

I'm visually impaired myself and Gordon will always have a special spot in my heart because of this scene. I love that he showed Christine how well her pie turned out in ways she could understand, like running the knife over the top crust so she could hear its flakiness. Just goes to show that kindness is something you don't need eyes to see. Bravo, sir.

He's stated a couple times he's very different on Masterchef or it's equivalents (MCJr, his own channel of videos) than he is on Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, or Hotel Hell. He is harsh to those that are "professional" chefs, and way more compassionate to those who are 'bank clerks, etc, those who aren't trained chefs' as he put in one interview.

Straight away, she didn't try to make an excuse for herself. She didn't try to pull the 'I'm blind so this is harder for me' card. You have to respect her for that. She doesn't think she should be held to a lower standard than her sighted peers. Truly a strong and resilliant person

Gordon Ramsay has a good heart, in my opinion. Personally, I think his personal life and professional life are two different people. He's a perfectionist as a worker, and that's why we see him run things with an iron fist. However, he really gives credit when and where it's due, and I think part of the reason he has such a fiery personality is because he wants his contestants to unlock their full potential.

She's so cute and naive and has such an innocent love for food. Her passion makes her so beautiful. She's so modest and unsure of herself at times it's really cute to me, (not encouraging insecure behaviour from women, be confident) I am so happy to see that she won. Gordon obviously knows how to work with blind people.

Gordon Ramsey's known for his "rude" side...but not many know is true side. This ladies and gentlemen....is the true/kind, caring Ramsey. :) He just gets mad at chefs/owners who can't do a god damn thing about their restaurant and food that their serving to people. Clearly the people who judged him wrong is the true blind ones.....
