I like how this transformation is different from others in that he doesn't just tap into it fully all at once. He gradually, over the course of multiple episodes, taps into a fraction of the form's true power learning how to use it before fully obtaining the complete version. This one truly felt unique like back when I was a kid watching Goku obtain Ssj on Namek. And at the same time, I'm glad it's not another Ssj level. Definitely re-captured the magic.

The thing I loved about this saga which I feel is super underrated is vegetas character arc. In dbz he was always the prince of all Saiyans. But after meeting cabba and discovering there’s more saiyans in his universe, then how he mentors cabba, motivates goku and speaks of saiyans in general, i feel like this is the first time we see what vegeta would’ve been like as a king.

Except destroyers aren't allowed to fight each other, so they have no real competition to achieve it. And even if they could, there's not enough of them to make each fight more compelling. More like a regular gym class.

So they had very strong sparring partners to push them to their limits but Kakarot still achieved UI before them. At this point, if they didn't have their magical powers that make things disappear from existence, goku would be above them in hand to hand combat.

This is complete ultra instincts, Goku has reach complete ultra instinct, but has not mastered it yet! This is not mastered ultra instinct! Mastered ultra instinct is you transformed into that form at will without creating any strain in your energy and your body like whis and all the other angels! Kinda like when goku in ssj form for 10 days so casually before cell game? That’s what you called mastered ssj, same with ultra instinct, he has reach that form but has yet to mastered it! That’s my take on it
