i tried it and yep, 12 in the gain is ok, i tried 8 but still sound not to my liking lol, also tried for this kinda stuff talinking in studio directly to the camera with gain 8, the inner mic in front mode and whit the external in 12 gain and the winner was 12, thanks

Ok everyone on KZbin are stating the mic settings however here’s the obvious question that no one can answer. There are 3 internal mics 1 on the back 2 on the sides There is no front mic just a speaker ( as far as the manual shows ) So how can you pick a front mic ( screen side ) or if you choose front and back ? Same issue If the answer is it’s using the sides as the front mic then that’s exactly the same as choosing the all mode ! Cheers

You could use an external mic and then point it straight at you or use the DJI MiC2 if you have the creator kit.

Hello from Korea! I have a question sir. I want to put the gain to +12. When I turn off the pro mode, does it go back to the original setting?

It should stick at 12 even with Pro Mode off

Wish you would have recorded all of this with the pocket 3, so we would get a sense of what it sounds like in your environment as well examples of using it in the situations you mentioned. Otherwise, appreciate the tips

I was planning on doing a video next week on if you can vlog with it, and just using the pocket 3- sound good? I think it’s alright but obviously the further away you are the quieter it is

Hundreds of video about the mic but no one ever tells you that the mic it comes with will not record in stereo. You are only limited to mono. Major decision on buying a creator combo.
