That idea about mixing the ambient sound with the vocal from the mic 2 is genius. I don’t have a Pocket 3 yet but am considering a purchase. I’m often in places where I want the ambient sounds in stereo but might want to bolster the vocal. I had already thought about mixing the two soundtracks (Pocket 3 and Mic 2 ) but the genius part of your idea is activating the mis 2’s NR feature. Thanks and subbed

Really impressed with the Pocket 3. It has more uses beyond just Vlogging. The 10 bit, 1 inch sensor makes it WAY more capable than the Pocket 2 indoors. It can also get audio input from 2 dji mic 2's. I use it in place of a much heavier and bulkier gimble with a mirrorless camera and lens for professional shoots where I need smooth movement. I use it with the 4th axis stabilizer from Scotty Makes Stuff. Great unit.

Thanks for the explaination, especcially for the audio part! I have a question: the audio file, that is recorded within the Mic 2, hat a different file name than the clip, that belongs to the audio. That makes it hard to find the right audio part. What did I make wrong?

Is there any way to hold the camera head in one direction only or to halt the gimbal movement like in Action 4, I mean when I want to take a photo of a dish in a restaurant, I don't want to gimbal to move in any direction, I want it to look straight like the rear screen.

There is one thing that I've failed to solve however - how do you shoot a static footage longer than half an hour without the camera turning off automatically? Great Tips Matthew, pocket 3's one of the worst feature is while recording you can't change the white balance, exposure iso in manuel recording mode that's kinda worst, but in auto mode its very good tho. pocket 3 is the best! cancel recording is one of the good update

for me, the function of deleting a started recording is totally unimportant. In times of huge SD-cards, space is absolutely no issue and even from an unwanted clip, there still might be some scenes, which might be useful. 5:45 the focus transition is a bit harsh, but I like it and I slow it down in post. Maybe, a coming firmware improves it.
