Brilliant. I did something similar a few years ago and you are right; the programing is a bit tough so I commend you for doing it. The calculations for some types of runners confuse me so rather than scratching my head on each project it is now quick and easy to create a cutlist without having to read instruction sheets.

Yeah it's really handy to have this, remembering allowances when you've not done for ages it's the hard part

Might be the beers or the crap England game I watched but I wish my brain worked as good as yours. You are a true carpenter in every respect and I thoroughly love watching all your videos. Even the ones that I’m computer stupid with. Keep the vid coming please 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Ollie is a true joiner! Actually a master, but too humble for that) Carpentry is a completely different animal ( more on site, roofs/ installs / door hanging floors.. etc. So you have joiners, carpenters and carpenters and joiners ( which isn’t a master of both! But not cowboys either!!) I did ‘Carpentry and joinery’ which means I can do pretty much all Carpentry, and some joinery such as squares and rectangles, unfortunately I didn’t ngwt a chance to learn much on curved and super complex stuff , which sucks :( Everyone’s journey is a bit different regardless of the training at the initial stage I guess but. 👍🏻

Hi Chris, I don't but I'm working with a guy that does exceptional spiral staircases. If that's something you need, I can definitely sort it for you

I bought a Mac 10 years ago to edit GoPro videos of our motorbike ride around Europe. That’s as far as my brain would take me. Thanks for sharing Oliver 🌞

Still using it Ray? I. Really like the Mac over windows now

@@BradshawJoinery Hi Oliver, I appreciate your response. The small Mac was perfect to carry in my panniers and it’s still going strong but, although Apple were so helpful in 2014 teaching me to edit my GoPro, I’ve forgotten most of it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🌞

This is a complicated way to do a simple job.

What's simpler than adding the opening size in and having all that info worked out for you? Genuine question. I know when you just knock off a certain amount it's very easy to get one wrong. Plus you probably have to look up how much to knock off... All done here for ya.
