'Some people are gonna yell at me for it ... ' 😄 Nope, not me. You try things and combinations that most of us couldn't even dream up. Sealer over paint over wax over paint over paint with salt wash on particle board ... Yeah, I hadn't thought of that! But it works. And an old piece lives another day to tell a new story. Great result, thanks Crys'Dawna!

I hope life and "stuff" in it is going better. Huge life shifts and losses too can be very hard to adjust too. We miss you when you are gone, but love you even more when you are able to return. Love this video and the table as always. You're the most creative furniture artist I watch. I've watched you for years, and love every piece you've ever done. Thank you.

Better to re-purpose and re-home a piece of furniture than to dump in a landfill. It’s fabulous; thanks for the video!

Oh now this is perfect, I can use these tips. I had 2 night stands from a charity shop for animals (were we since 2 weeks started to help out in that animal shelter after our own work, because they where so desperate in needing help, we didn't hesitate, and just started helping them out❤) the night stands had been standing outside in the rain after we moved😮, and I thought they were ruined, but thanks to this video, I see potential again😊 thank you for an other beautiful piece that you shared with us❤

Really love those colors together! I didn’t know that particle board could be easily salvageable… Thank you for stressing the importance of using oil based primer on particle board! This looks perfect for her business! So glad to see you! B~}

I think this piece is absolutely perfect! Probably meant for me lol. I love the colors and the style. I have never used wax as a resist because my luck I would never remember where I put it. Nor have I done a liquid top coat over wax because "they" say its a no no. NOW for sure i will try it. Thanks again for stretching the limits😊

Your reason for use of oil base primer on partical board makes complete sense and I would not have thought about that. I learn so much from your videos. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into your videos 🎉❤🙌 Also, I LOVE the song you play at the end of your videos.

Several years ago I had commented on one of your super textured pieces saying that I think you'd have a really good time using DIY Paint! You had heard of it, but hadn't tried it at that time. So glad you've finally gotten a chance to play with it. It works so well for your style, IMO. Hope you liked working with it, from a DIY fan. 💕 Cool piece, Crys! I bet your friend is gonna love it.

Hi Cry’s Dawna I really hope you’re having a lovely day. I just love,love everything you do 😊😊 I have a very important question I paint a furniture with Dixie belle and I seal it with big mamas butta but now I want to put glaze on the details. Can I put a top coat on top of mamas butta, or can I just glaze on top of mamas butta, it just that I have only put glaze on top of a clear coat

Try it and see what happens. Buff the wax in really good and let it dry before you do anything is my thought.
