Love all the illustrations you’ve picked Nina. I especially like the flush mount black lights, and asymmetrical use of pendants. The corner banquette with large pendant…gorgeous. Thank you for this episode. Have a good week❤️❤️.

I didn't realize lighting was changing so much 😮. The fact that track loghting is back from the 90s!! 🤯

LED light strips and spotlights are a definite yes for accent lighting. Track lights- NOOO this should not come back. It’s too office like.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! I despise track lighting. Doesn’t feel cozy or luxurious.

Oh my Goodness this was right on time. I'm re-doing my kitchen and designing it myself. I've done this before and do a pretty good job if I do say so myself but the lighting is agony. I've got the can lights but I'm trying to make sure they aren't needed and that the quality of light I add is warm not cool. I've got a great sconce over the shelves a solid plan for LED strip lights in the glass cabinets and under the cabinets but I cannot for the life of me figure out how many switches and where! I will have to re-watch this.

I’m having trouble with ghastly LED bulbs. The light depresses me. Incandescent has been outlawed so I literally bought all the left over stock I could find and had them shipped. But for some reason they’re not quite right either.

Hi Laura, make sure and purchase dimmable LED’s that are soft white and 2800 lumens Once you dim them you will find a much better tolerable, warm light ❤️
@merrywalsh28093 ай бұрын
Yes, you should be buying energy saving LED in the 2700-3500 Kelvin range. Kelvin is the color. It goes from warm (yellow) 2700K, all the way to cool (blue white) 5000K. Lumens are the brightness, or wattage. Google before you buy, because it is confusing. If the bulbs are on a dimmer, you MUST get dimmable bulbs, otherwise they may flicker.

Nina, this isn’t the first that your editor put the wrong photo up while speaking on it. Showing us the track lights in living room while speaking on the kitchen…
