11:22 You can also pick Voxel tool, use it as marquee, and select X and Y axis mode. Much faster and less fiddly. I'm getting used to that myself rn

Am I the only one who doesn't have those 6 options above attach? There is no "box mode" for me. I have the All, the Brush, and the gear, and then below that is attach, erase, and paint. I don't have the 6 icons that you have in-between them. Edit: I figured it out. Instead of 6 options I guess they changed it to 3 very thin lines in between. They're very hard to select but they seem to change the modes.

How does the marquee select tool choose how deep/far back to make the selection? For example, if I build a room (four walls and floor), choose ortho mode, and marquee select a section in an outer wall, part of the floor inside will be selected too, but not the opposite wall. Is there some logic to how much of the 3D space is included in the selection? Thank you so much for these videos - they're so helpful!

Basically any voxel that is within your dragged selection will be selected. This includes voxels that are being occluded by other voxels (a.k.a. voxels that are behind the ones you can see, but still within the realms of your selection. Only voxels outside your current working area will not be selected. So no matter the amount of voxels, everything within your dragged selection will be selected. (Assuming you are talking about the Marquee select - Rect select tool) Let me know if that helps you!

The best way to work in a room could be to have the walls separated into a different working area. Otherwise, maybe will be better for you to use the Marquee select - Box select option. (The one you click and then you expand your selection and then press enter to commit to it)
