Your mini 2 Maven videos are terrific, thanks for making them. 2 questions: 1) In the waypoint missions I see no difference between setting the height with or without "above ground" being selected. I expected (and hoped) the drone would follow the terrain in above ground when I did a test on a hill. It seems the drone stays at a height relative to its home position on either setting. Same result if I start at bottom or at the top of the hill. 2) has Mave been updated? If so, how do I update it? Lastly I hope you produce more videos your thourough and logical explanations make things understandable.. Thank you

If you ask at the land it will land wherever the last waypoint is not at the home. You cannot choose go home and land at the same time. How do I make it go home and land?
@WaddleAero2 жыл бұрын
I have not seen this behavior. To confirm, at the end of the mission the drone climbed to your RTH altitude, returned home, but did not land? Did it descend once it returned to the home point or remain at the RTH altitude? As support for the Mini-2 is new in version 3.11.1, I would recommend you reach out to the developer at info@mavenpilot.com

It is the pencil on paper button to the left of the Rocket button. 3. Zoom in to the point where you want to add a waypoint 4. You should see a + on the red line between waypoints. @@daleaceron Not that I know of. The first couple of missions I built in a congested area, I made two copies of the mission. First copy I set the altitude high enough that it would miss any obstacle. I have used Litchi for years and loved it until they were able to incorporate the Mavic Air 2 into the supported drones list. Litchi does a horrific job in the turns with the Mavic Air 2. What used to be smooth movements in the turns, with my Phantom and Mavic Pro, now looks like a beginner drone pilot tapping the stick at intervals. I had stumbled across Maven and had considered purchasing it since I stopped using Litchi. As I watch the video I find that it is very similar in features to Litchi. I was wondering: Between two waypoints does the heading get averaged out between the two? For instance, if you are at 10 degrees at Waypoint 1 and Waypoint 2 is defined at 30 degrees, will it be facing 20 degrees at the halfway mark? Subbed
@WaddleAero2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the sub. I don’t know if the heading is exactly averaged, but it does move smoothly between headings. As a test, I added a POI and then added two waypoints pointing at the POI, to form an equilateral triangle. The drone slewed smoothly as it moved.

Good morning and congratulations. I write from Italy and I use the translator because I don't speak English. I would like to ask you why on the point Then an altitude is set different from the waypoints traced. What does it mean that if I put a poi at 22 meters the drone will fly at that height? Thanks in advance for your reply
@WaddleAero2 жыл бұрын
Ciao, Grazie!

The app is certainly capable of missions of that distance. The problem you may have on longer missions would be losing connection. When you lose connection the app will either continue the mission or return to home. The mini and Air2 will return to home if connection is lost.
