Only telling the truth, Nick..🤣 Can I ask a question... I fished a match last Saturday very similar to your video,in approach, other than the margins were alot deeper... I came second in the match ,losing out by 10lb, why did I lose so many fish in the initial few seconds on hooking them, I think I lost seven fish, It was annoying as two fish would of won me the match. Was it poor hooks? Was it cos of the the deep margins? Or just how it is.... Look forward to your next video...👍 I expect its something simple...

I always enjoy your videos. I fished that same peg in a club match this summer, 42 and caught well on paste down the edge late on but to the right hand side next to the reeds - I couldn’t get a bite down the left edge. Came 3rd with 90lb but should have done better to be fair

I can remember back in the day, I'd say around the mid/late 90s, me and my mate used to go to woodlands in Thirsk, we'd go after work for a short session, we'd set up on a peg each with an empty platform in the middle, once we were ready one or both of us would go to the spare platform in the middle, walk about, stamp on the platform and drop feed in the edge generally dead maggots and groundbait, by the time we got sat on our box's the fish were already on the bait.

Nice one 👍 would you do two margin swims left and right or just the one.

Start with the side that looks the most inviting and is of the right depth...then if it feels not right, feed the other side, as sometimes the less inviting side might be the more inviting side for the fish to feed confidently.

😂😂😂😂 margin fish will feed all day .I've fished several venues .and you know what it's a rubbish myth .I caught all day on each of the venues I fished 😂😂
