I have been working towards finishing more quilts. I actually finished 3 quilts this last week and I want to share them with my friends. I left them in different stages in the original tutorial videos and I thought you all might like the closure of seeing the completed projects. The first 2 I used traditional binding. On the third quilt, which is the horse panel quilt that I backed with fleece, I used the backing for the binding by folding it over to the front of the quilt.
Enjoy a trunk show or sorts along with a surprise or two within my quilt show at home.
Here are links to the tutorials for the quits I am showing:

Wonderful job of explaining the instructions, of how to bind our quilt's. The word "binding" is so terrifying. But, your explanation is perfect. That makes "that word" less intimidating.😮 😬🥺😑🙄😔😉😁😆😂 The cat toy "Chinelle", I will have to try out, to add to my pillows too. It's so pretty. Your so talented, & make such lovely things. Thank you so much for sharing your tip's with us all. You're the best. The Chocolate of the day is the "Sky bar" 🍫 Do you remember them growing up? They had marshmallow in one square, fudge in another, a peanut filling in another, then my favorite square of them all was the Carmel one. Mmmmm

Love doing binding like you do. I've tried several methods and that is the one I use all the time now. Makes the binding process not quite so scary. LOVE that horse quilt.

A couple of months ago, one of the Walmarts near me had all the Pioneer Woman fabric on clearance, like ridiculous clearance. 3 yd packs $3.00, fat quarter bundles $1.50, 1 yd pieces $1.00, rotary cutter $1.00, ribbon $.75, scissors $.75. I don’t really like most of the fabric but it was so cheap I couldn’t resist. I use a lot of it for practice. A couple of the prints I’ll use for “real” things. It’s weird but I’ve been to 3 or 4 other WMs and it’s all still full price.

Roll your binding around a toilet Paper roll that's cut in half. You can cut a slit to hold your end. Then on my machine it fits under my sewing table top and I put a table foot in the roll to hold everything

I watched Jenny Doan from Missouri Star years ago show the secret of unending binding. It was different than this as it showed starting at the front and hand finishing the back. 😊

I learned a lot about the binding. But I'm afraid I'm a lost cause for free motion quilting. I keep practicing with no improvement. I can only do straight-line quilting. Your quilting was amazing.
