Oh my goodness! What a lovely painting. I'm a 72 year old newbie, wanna be artist who is afraid to venture out and experiment. You are so God gifted Lynda and watercolour is the hardest of all painting mediums! This painting is simple but beautiful and you are so good at taking your time to explain how wonderful it is to enjoy painting....I started painting at 59 and have tried other acrylic paintings as well in landscape but watercolour flows and wonderful things do happen on the paper...God bless you and thank you for your talent!

Love this vignette. Im just trying watercolours and finding it intriguing that the water and medium have a mind of their own Trying to be loose and let the water do its thing and be gentle with it and myself when it doesn't quite go to plan. The hardest thing for me is to get that first stroke down on the paper. To get past that, I warm up by using pre-drawn zentangles from an adult coloring book using colored pencils.

Wow, just wow. This is only the second of your videos I've watched but I'm enamored by your style. I'm a perfectionist, and have ventured into watercolor to try and rid myself of that in my art. I love the idea of starting a vignette wet onto a dry spritzed paper, it's both precise and chaotic. Just the technique I've been looking for and didn't know it. You're phenomenal and I'm a new subscriber. Can't wait to watch all of your videos!
