nowadays laptop CPUs is married to the bios so if you change the CPU on a laptop from 2014-present the laptop won't work unless you put the old CPU back

What a stupid design of the machine so the owner user has to climb the highest mountain to upgrade the machine to a slightly better specifications. I hate Apple for making sure the consumers has virtually no other option but to buy new computer or try find miracle technician *like this guy in the video* at their country. The ability to customize my PC by my own hands is the only reason why I use Windows machines. Boo Apple !!! P.S. Super clean work by the technician in this video - very impressed by his skills

Windows laptops aren’t that different. Same BGA soldered CPU, and BIOS chip design.

@@michaelwiley5427 Yup. But Apple started that crap, and everyone follows. Same with glued batteries and hard to open phones. Apple always starts this anti end-user BS.

@@michaelwiley5427 Actually the bios on windows laptops usually already contain info for other CPUs and don't need bios update. Only Apple has this bios update for the CPU ID requirement. Apple is totally anti consumer. They are "for themselves only" to make more money. To make and upgrade to an Apple product you have to scratch yourself with all arms and legs on every point that itches you or buy another one with upgraded characteristics.
