I’ve never been to Sziget and maybe for future videos (although I do believe you guys used to do this) you could include a small overview. Like, show a little map of the festival, where are the stages, how big is the terrein, who are playing? That’s what made the first Coachella so amazing. The step by step discovery of the festival. And in Europe alone there are soo many festivals that are waayyy more crazy and awesome then Sziget :P Checkout Garbicz in Poland or Fusion in Germany and there are many more crazy festivals. I did Exit Festival from 2016 to 2019, and Sziget from 2018 to 2024, Exit is nothing compared to Sziget 🥴 there's just not much to do at Exit and it's mostly techno and electronis music

@@reljagajic "Not much to do"... I lost you there, mate. Are you going to festivals for the music, or to find "things to do"? For me, the fact that you can go from one stage to the other in a matter of a few meters and the sound of the stages doesn't mix (due to the castle theme) was mind-blowing. It is not "mostly techno and electronic music", it has many stages and music genres. It is true that, in the last couple of years they are adding a lot of EDM acts on their main stage. That doesn't change the fact that is a must-visit festival, awarded multiple times as the "Best Major Festival" award by the European Festival Awards.

@@ThompterSHunson I'm attending festivals because of the music, since 2019 exit didn't have a single name I wanted to see while at Sziget I found at least 3 names I really wanted to hear for each day (this year I had 12 concerts on my list just for the first day) + yeah there's not much to do at exit except "music", I spend more than 12 hours each day doing activities at Sziget, xs land stuff, travelling funfair, shows in circus, drag queen shows in magic mirror, dance shows on dance feild, hungarian dances and indian music workshops in global village, workshops in artzone, collecting stamps in passport, there's so much to do besides music, this year I was not really happy with sziget's lineup but still managed to go to 32 concerts/sets during 6 days + did other things during the day and had so much fun as always... 🙃

Sziget looks great. I nearly went in the 2000s but ended up in Paris with an ex instead. That was quite a trip for all the wrong reasons that ended up with the pair of us pissed under the Eiffel Tower at 4am. Happy days... As for Burning Man, you guys are 100% not prepared. I went once & not only is the trip out to the desert incredible (it's like driving through a film set) but you need to get everything you're going to need for a week. That's water (you'll need so much water), food, alcohol (though it gets so hot & dry that drinking heavily isn't advised til nighttime), plenty of loose-fitting clothes, facemasks or something to protect you against the dust & dirt (I got caught in one of the frequent dust storms without a mask & spent the rest of the day coughing up muck) & get bikes. Black Rock City is huge once it's fully built and you can walk it, but it's much, much easier to get around by bike. We got everything in LA at thrift stores & stocked up the hire bus at a supermarket on the way but don't be tempted to get anything at Gerlach (the closest town to Burning Man, it's a tourist trap & you'll pay through the nose for anything) but the biggest thing to remember is that once you're in Burning Man you can't nip out. You're there & you're around 100 miles from any really big city. With Glastonbury you've got a load of infrastructure there but not here. There's also a trade economy there so I'd advise you to bring stuff to trade or offer services. My ex used to cut hair so she'd offer to do that while I did basic repairs on bikes & we'd get food, beer, or other substances in return... Also, when you're leaving be prepared to be in a very, very long queue to get out. We booked a hotel after the festival in Sacramento but Reno is nearer and I wish we'd done that instead. One more tip, there's a lot of Native American reservations around that area and the scenery is amazing but there's also a lot of The Hills Have Eyes territory around there so be aware of your surroundings. Have fun, it really is like NOTHING you've experienced at any other festival and there's no such thing as packing too much water.

@@TPD Good luck. It was overwhelming for the first few days & a huge adjustment from any other festival I'd done but after a couple of days we clicked, sussed it out and loved it. Though we had huge help from some lovely neighbours from San Francisco who'd made their money from tech (you'll meet loads of very wealthy Californian tech people) who eased us in. You guys should be fine making friends with neighbours. Also, you'll need good footwear. Rob's trusty trainers won't cut it in the desert. Your feet will be wrecked by the end of the week. Good walking boots or good walking sandals were what we went with. It was stupidly hot the year we went, with it hitting 32 degrees on average during the day & there's no shade. Sun cream, even umbrellas are essential to protect against the sun. At night, it can get very, very cold & there's always the risk of dust storms. There are toilets, water, & plenty of places selling/trading food & there's some places giving food away, but be prepared to get dirty, dusty & knackered but it's all entirely worth it, even if it remains the most expensive festival I've ever went to. Good luck!

I went to sziget for a few years (including this year) one of the highlights is how cheap the city is. I went for 6 days and it was only €420/£350 for a class 1bed apartment about a 10min tram away from the festival. Tram was 24/7 and £12 for a 15day pass. Things like restaurants etc are only like £10pp. So it’s a very ideal holiday/festival where you don’t have to slum it and can actually enjoy the city too

Nuff love guys!!! The emotion on your faces and literal mind blowing moment when you guys got to see the QR Code light up that screen! You ALL need to meet up and give yourselves a good sober talking too... No one should find themselves aroused by a giant multi coloured flashing QR Code. Should they?!
