Yeah, Ren's mad talented. He's an independent artist in Brighton, England (originally from Wales). He literally does it all - from composing to producing his own beats to creating his own videos (often with videographer Samuel Perry-Falvey, often live, often one-takes) - in many genres. A stellar storyteller, you never know how a new song will sound. "Hi Ren" is an autobiographical story that's definitely worth a watch. Loved your reaction. Great to see someone introduced to Ren through this one.

Like I say to all newcomers, when you watch Money Game 2 make sure you chose the LYRIC video because the live version is missing verses and hits different. Also, Hi Ren is ideally the best video to introduce Ren as it really is a masterpiece. Finally, a word of advice. With Ren reactions it's always best to stop and make your comment rather than talk over the video. Unlike other artists, Ren packs a lot of substance into his music so talking over it means you will miss something important. 😊

Get ready mate, you're on a different level with Ren, you will want to dive into his rabbit hole for there is much gold. He's a multi-instrumentalist, producer, emcee, singer, guitar player, and as you see he has some skill on the Ivory's. What he shines at the most are his performances. That's why he's killing KZbin, it's something you want to see and hear. You do not want to pull Ren up on Spotify and experience him that way for your first encounter with a Ren song. You just won't get it. But the dude has no genre and no boundaries, he switches it up a lot, flips his schemes, and beats in almost every track but in a way that feels right and fresh. He does a bunch of live 1 take performances as KZbin videos. and most are just jaw-droppingly incredible. You'll get a ton of goosebumps with him, and his story telling is next level and his lyrics are like pages from your diary. Ren Hits differently man... Ask the community what you should check out next. Because the Renegades are coming if you're reacting to our boy. We love to watch new minds get blown the way ours did. Not every song is meant for everyone. But the bulk of his library even the super early stuff will leave your jaw hanging open. Welcome aboard... He was seriously ill for a few years and was misdiagnosed and put on several meds that jacked him up in every way before they found out he had Lyme's disease. Now he's in Canada getting treatment. So he was unable to do shows or tour to grow. He's independent (No Label, No Manager) and it's been the KZbin community reactors like yourself who helped him blow up and he shows love back to yall.
