That's one way to look at it. But the fact that he leads all players with 20 grand slams AND has a ton of epic huge match losses also tells you that if you're going to beat him, it's going to take a HERCULEAN effort to do so. Of course I wish he won some of those matches, but it's also somewhat of a badge of honor. Most grand slams in history and has also lost the greatest number of epic matches in history.

La verdad es que yo no he visto a Federer perder así nunca. Cuando a Federer le han ganado, por ejemplo Djokovic y Nadal en la mayoría de las veces, siempre tenía la sensación de que, por supuesto ellos con sus enormes virtudes, desestabilizaban el juego del suizo, y por ejemplo, en los momentos más decisivos y de máxima tensión, Federer fallaba. Pero no sé, parecía que en el fondo, el partido estaba en cierto modo en la raqueta de Federer. Nalbandián en cambio le ha ganado desbordando y dominándole, y eso no he visto a otro hacérselo. No solo en este partido, se me vienen a la mente dos o tres más. En el juego de dominio, directo y de ataque, era mejor, tenia más talento en sus golpes, le corría más la pelota y generaba unos ángulos que el suizo no podía encontrar. Pero claro, eso era cuando alcanzaba su máximo nivel, lo cual pasó en muy pocas ocasiones en su carrera

Ну и как после такого космического уровня игры смотреть современный теннис? Печально,но пик расцвета тенниса ,с точки зрения качества уровня игры,уже прошёл!!!!!! Большинство современных теннисистов, даже из топ 10,крайне слабо играют у сетки ( включая Джоковича) Это провал в технико- тактическом плане ,говорю это ,как тренер с 30 летним стажем! Все проходит в этом мире и ничего нет вечного,эпоха Баха,Моцарта и др,тоже прошла к сожалению 😢

Federer was coming after an ankle injury which kept him from playing after thailand open, it was his first tournament after that injury, federer could have easily won in 3 sets if he was at si best, as he did a few months early at the us open when he defeted david no problem in 3 straight sets, but never less congrats to david nalbandian, he deserved it in the end

Peak Nalbandian steam rolls peak Federer any given day... Nalbandian is not Ur average tennis player my friend... Tell me one guy who toys with Federer using drop shots... Aquí quedan expuestos lo dos, y lo digo siendo fan del gran Roger. Primero a Federer se le congela el pecho ganando 2 sets a 0 ,se deja casi humillar en el quinto y termina sacando para el partido y otra vez se le vuelve a congelar el pecho hasta perder. Por el lado de Nalbandian parecido, remonta un partido bravo estando 4 a 0 y saque en el quinto para que se quede completamente congelado hasta que Federer saca para partido y es cuando vuelve a jugar bien(aunque se dan ambas cosas) él sube y Federer termina con el pecho congelado en ese saque para partido. Esa es la razón por la que Federer no ha terminado con más GS su carrera y por la cual Nalbandian nunca fue #1 y no ganó GS.

Peor es perder 7.6 7.6 los primeros sets que 6-1 6-2....animicamente te mata, el se lo tomo distinto, mucha mentalidad e inteligencia para revertir eso. Mas recuerdo Madrid 2007, ganarle de corrido y con baile a berdych, del potro, nadal, djocovic y feederer....no si alguno mas hizo eso
