When we decided to make this video, we were worried that it might not work, since we couldn't get any real aircraft, that our accents weren't always going to be spot on, our CGI skills weren't exactly Hollywood level & our knowledge of historical events was a little bit spotty, but then we remembered what show we were covering... For all its pitfalls though, it was still a really enjoyable series, right?

If you've watched Masters of the Air, did you have the same nagging feeling we did? That throughout the whole show there was just one specific group of people that were misrepresented, downplayed, made out to all be the bad guys, and received nowhere near enough credit for their actions.. Yes, that's right, we're talking about the Luftwaffe. Wait... you didn't think we meant the RAF did you?

The beginning reminds me of people I went to High School. Our Social Studies teacher put up an outline of the US with the State boundaries. He went to each student, "Find me Texas" "Find me New Mexico" and then to fill in the blanks with what they thought a State was. So there's now an East Dakota where Minnesota is. Wyoming doesn't exist. New Hampshire is now Massachusetts. Probably for the best.

I know it's a joke video, but I have to say I absolutely adore the nuance you guys packed into this. Pointing out the thing six minutes in where Rosie Rosenthal had an extensive flying record prior to that mission and could literally maneuver a B-17F into a situation where his tail gunner could get hits on for longer against fighters was really neat from you guys, well done.

The bearded actor who isn't Bill has some great deadpan delivery. I would gladly watch him in some light TV comedy drama. To be honest, you would probably all do well in such a context.
