I love that Mattel made this figure unique with the added details in the skin. They could have easily just used a skeletor body. Mattel is doing an outstanding job. 👍

I found Faker and Buzz Off at the Mattel Store in southern California. They are both awesome! I couldn’t be more happy with the improvements of the Masterverse line. They are getting better for sure. So far, Buzz Off is my favorite!!!

I could probably do this with most MOTU figures if I have a few in hand and review one after another within a couple of days of one another. I have done this before in a couple of videos. I like doing that to answer questions or make corrections from the last review. But it's kind of risky if I can't make the point quick enough for some viewers. Because they come to see the figure I am reviewing in the thumbnail and title, then I'm going on in the beginning about a figure they don't care about. So they can always fast forward the video. But that hurts the algorithm and my views on youtube. It's a game. But overall, I like doing that if I can and glad you did as well👍

I never thought I would collect Masterverse having all the Classics. But they still feel like Classics MOTU figures but a little different👍

Great review! I was hoping that Mattel would reuse the 40th Anniversary He-Man bulkier body for this New Eternia Faker but after seeing that the mechanical parts on the chest are sculpted, and the extra mechanical components throughout the figure (same as Tri-Klops?), this is pretty good! 🙂👍

Thanks for checking out the review! I also thought Mattel was gonna use the 40th Anniversary He-man buck and head design, then just make him a faker! But they decided to go with the New Eternia sun line series and not the 40th Anniversary series. So it makes sense about the Buck. He is definitely one of the collection faker designs because of that new head sculpt, sculpted chest, and that classic blue color. Yes, the arms are basically Tri-Klops Mechanics. Overall, he came great, and Thrle Blue faker He-man character is always fun to see, just like the Vintage days as a kid getting that figure for the first time.👍

The only issue I have with my Grizzlor is the Beard/ face hair on mine is that it's to long the gotee and stops head head 🗣️ from turning further down 👇. Feel as if I should cut part of the plastic off . probably a defect ok some Grizzlor figures don't now for sure. Great reviews though.thanks 👍

Yeah, maybe it's a QC issue or the overall design. He reminds me of a Filmation style movie Beastman mix. Maybe you can customize or modify it, as you mentioned! I will do things like that on my figures from time to time to make it the way I want or fix it. Thanks for checking the review out 👌

I agree, this is a fantastic-looking Faker! It actually has more of a zombie-like look to it than robotic, in my opinion. I wasn’t really a fan of the Revelation Faker because it looked *too much* like He-Man (and the robot head reminded me of Colossus from the X-Men). Which is weird because realistically, if you’re trying to create a robot that would fool your enemies into thinking it’s the real person, it *should* look exactly like the person you’re “faking”…but in the toy world of MotU, that kind of logic doesn’t always justify creating a separate figure that’s nearly identical. It just didn’t look like Faker…but this one absolutely does! And I agree, one of the best He-Man face sculpts I’ve seen!

Nice figure. I haven't collected these at all, but the more I see the more I like them. I don't like the double jointed elbows at all. If they didn't have that, I would be more excited. It makes the arms look empty and not full. You can't have the arms straight down at all, or else it look like that part of the arm was chopped off. ha ha But the overall look is very nice! Too bad the blue color is different than Origins. I was hoping it would match.

That is the biggest eye sore with these Masterverse figures when the arm is stretched out all the way. It's like the muscle has been cut out when we are so used to those bulky muscles from the Vintage, Origins, and Classics. But it's the best way to get the added articulation that the Classics can't do. Plus, they have pin less joints. If they also had pin holes. Then forget it. I would collect these at all. The blue color seems to replicate the Barbarian Skeletor figure. So it seems from the bio that Barbarian Skeletor is his creator.

I have a custom Faker I made from wave-1 Skeletor's body & the Faker head that came with Classics NA Skeletor. The skin tones aren't a perfect match but they're close enough. A little airbrush work & I can match them up perfectly. But I'm still going to get 2 of these. Getting an extra to make an easy Masterverse He-Skeletor because I only care about Masterverse, not into Origins anymore. I'm not going to waste money on the Origins version when it's so easy to make a Masterverse version. Dumbest repaint ever! I'm just going to make one for shits'n'giggles. lol And I have extra He-Man chest harnesses from the Revelation Faker. And I can easily cover up the chest details with some Apoxie-Sculpt. Too easy!

That's cool. You're into customs with these figures. Yes, aside from the color differences, there are a few different custom variations that can be made between Masterverse, Origins, or Classics. Airbrushing is always a great way to fix paint, as you mentioned. I like something about this new Faker. He has a different design but yet still feels like the old school Faker, but with the Masterverse touch. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts and custom ideas👍

@Sci-Fi Tsunami Yep! My health is not well either. I struggle in unbelievable pain and stiffness to do anything. My wife helps with most of the setups or moving things. I just sit up for a bit and talk, then edit, laying down in bed. The best place to post picks that is easy is Instagram. My profile is manchild497. Maybe make an account there to start to show your custom stuff or toy picks. KZbin is good for shorts. But it is difficult sometimes if you're gonna do a thumbnail and edit to put up a decent video to get views. It's takes a lot of energy to do it right.

The Masterverse figures are hit or miss for some people. Only collect the ones you like. I think they are getting better with each wave. I keep most of my classics in cards. But the Masterverse I take out and get rid of the packaging. I don't have room for all this stuff.its amazing how many figures you can put around on shelves or a table. But keeping them in card all over is a killer.

Yeah, that's a nice head sculpt for a modern Masterverse He-man. The 40th Anniversary He-man was trying to pull off the 80s He-man us kids grew up with but tried to make it look more realistic. That's tricky to do with that head.

Just like Classics, if you don't get Masterverse now, you probably won't be able to afford them later. I'm pissed I missed out on Classics. I never bothered to collect Classics because I was sure they wouldn't make all the characters like they didn't with the 200x line. Now I'm kicking myself. I REALLY want Classics Scare Glow, Swift Wind, Grayskull & Snake Mountain. But now Classics is only for the rich.

It took me four years and thousands of dollars. But I got all the figures on the card. Sucks the line ended.

be glad you guys aren’t me: I started collecting classics from the very beginning, I remember one time I was backpacking and I had to hike to the top of a basalt spire so I could use my 2nd gen. iphone to order from matty collector at the exact moment a figure went on sale. Then in late 2010 every single one of the figures I had was ruined by caustic smoke from a fire in my storage building. And the stupid vents on the plastic bubbles made it to the figures themselves are ruined. It also ruined my complete collection of Fuerza T and completely burned my entire childhood collection

There are some early waves of these figures out on the market. Dealers like Paulmart store, Frank's, and sons in California and sellers on Ebay have some now. This is nothing new with the Origins and Masterverse. That's been happening since day one of their release.

What seems to be off is this body, it looks buff on the revelation figures but as soon as they add an enlarged head it looks off, body looks lean at best and like his trunks are pulled too far up. I think if they use enlarged heads they need to enlarge the body for correct scale. Man those classics look hulking.

Yeah, that's what throws most people off with the Masterverse figures. They are different as far as the bulky look like the Vintage or Classics, which will always be the coolest looking figures.nthe Masterverse reminds me of the 200x body style, which is interesting in its own way I guess I got use to that look. They tried bulking up the 40th Anniversary He-man and Skeletor, which I thought was much better. But you couldn't believe how many people hated that look in the comments.

@@Themanchlid They seem to have a lot of hits and misses. I still think stinkor was the best so far, it really is an awesome figure. I have an almost complete classics collection and have masterverse stinkor with the classics instead of the classics version. Twobad was great too. But again with 40th Anniv he man they made the body bigger but left the arms so it looks out of proportion.

@Paulies 1066 That's awesome. You also have most of the classics! Both two bad and Stinkor in the Classics and Masterverse are both great figures in their own ways. Yeah, the bulked uo the 40th to appear more like the vintage concept but modernized. However, They went with the double joint biceps under cut Masterverse arms. That was another complaint I also heard with those figures.

The Idea of Motu is that He-Man is Bigger then your Regular Action Figures. If you put Masterververse figure next to Star Wars Black series, Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classified they are Huge. That's he Scale they wanted. Leia looks like a child standing next to Teela. He-man towers over Duke and is almost a Head taller then Roadblock. So yeah they are Big compared to what's on the Market from the Competition.

@Fenris30 Well, that's what made Motu different or unique in the 80s and appealing to kids, then that was different from those 3- 1/2 inch figures, as you mentioned. I guess that's what the brand is trying to recapture today with the collectors.

second time in the line that the best he man headsculpt came with faker, the normal revelation head that cames with the first faker is way better than tha he man one

Well said! I thought the same thing. I didn't like the first release Revelation figure He-man head. But that Faker head with red eyes had a better look in the face. This new Faker head and design is what we need in a regular He-man for the New Eternia line. Hopefully, we get one off this Faker design👍
