I love people who can afford to adopt senior dogs. Just to be able to bond, fall in love and not probably having much of a long time with them. I think the vet who adopted this dog with the tumor living in squalor. Now, he is in a clean and peaceful home. So, God Bless the vet who adopted Timmy. 🧔♀️🫶🐕👩🏼⚕️

The story of Timmy made me cry tears of joy and just totally melted my heart and made my day. To see an old dog recover and go through surgery and survive and thrive again, made me know that there is always hope. Dogs are our most dedicated and honorable friends in the animal kingdom, they teach us so many things. Love and hope is on top of those things, especially with an older dog like that... still clinging on makes me believe that there is hope for all of us. :]

I hope the owner gets his/her punishment. That old dog Timmy, I presume, gets is well deserved old day. Does he has his forever new owner? I am disabled, that is why I can't have a new dog. I am 57 years and grew up with dogs in all sizes. My last one was a German shepherd."Quando" was his name. Came to me when he was about 7 years old. His owners couldn't provide for him, because their was no time anymore. I live near the seaside(5km) in the Netherlands. And woods....o man...he loved to grab a big lump of wood 🪵 and hold it in his mouth the whole 🚶♂️ walk. When he was 12 he got a massif stroke. The vet gave him steroids and he wanted to play again with his ball but after 14 days on steroids,we had to stop the medication to see if his brain 🧠 was progressing. But no. Again het drunk all day and wee constantly. Then I found him in the morning, which is in a puddle of urine in his sleeping basket. I asked the vet if he can do anything else but he shook his head and said; I am so sorry. I sat on the floor with Quando's big head on my lap and looked at me with those beautiful brown eyes if he wanted to say:" papa, you are the best thing that I ever could wish for. You treated me with respect and all the love you had to give. Thank you for all those wonderfull years 😢. " I broke down....this massif German Shepherd was indeed the best partner in life. And when I see those episodes where their is cruelty in the life of animals I wanted to take them all. But I am disabled and not able anymore to take care for those sweethearts. I have a African Grey 🦜 now. So I do not have to go out early in the morning. She is 48 now...a happy bird with some loss of sight in both eyes. But she is still happy. The kast thing I want to say, I you want to take a dog in your house, think twice and take a breed that fits your lifestyle 😉. Don't take a Huskey because the are beautiful, knowing that this dog needs his Dailey exercise. Choose wisely and maby a cat or a bird fits your lifestyle. Thank you all and a big shout out to all the members of the RSPCA and other local caretakers.,Vets ect.

By the way, I give major credit to the RSPCA, years ago, they were called to my house, and an Inpsector called, straight away he knew it was false, but could NOT tell me who made complaint, but he sorted and never had a problem again, he was from RSPCA Ringwood, for that I thank him, but he has passed on now. But shows they do their job diligently!

I am so happy about the outcome for Timmy, the one with the large mass! I’ve had to do a mass removal for my 13 years old mini schnauzer! It’s very scary, because of their age. He bounced back so well, and the scar will disappear under the fur. I also understand about dog owners ❤❤❤predicament, as I have had better days and can’t even afford my own health issues. But now I’d rather work a part time gig to earn enough for her allergy shots and maintenance. It’s tough and very stressful, but they didn’t ask for this and it is a lifetime commitment. Life does happen and things get rough, but I want her to live her best older lady life with me.

Good on Pepper's owner for doing the right thing and allowing her to be rehomed. Its hard to give up on your animal friends, but it is worth it if it means giving them a better quality of life. I'm glad she helped Pepper to gain weight so she was taken to the shelter in better condition (giving her a better and faster chance of being rehomed).

Dogs like Clyde don’t last a week in our local rescue. Normally they have mostly pit bulls. They don’t euthanize unless it’s medically necessary so uless the pits go to a pit rescue they will live out their lives there. We were lucky and my husband found a full size Chihuahua and we were blessed to be able to adopt her. She is a joy. We have to have smaller dogs that can’t knock me over and that can’t whip my legs with their tail❤️❤️❤️

I think they should be able removed immediately until they clean it up and get help that they need before the animal should be returned. The state of some people's homes in this makes me feel a little bit better about my messes. At least I don't have trash on the floor, heh. I wonder what was going on with that couple that had to clean up their house that had gotten into such a terrible state. I wonder if it's executive dysfunction, like I have. I hope they were able to get some help for that. Nobody actively chooses to live like that, and I could tell they do genuinely love their animals.

Man, why are people SO MESSED UP? I'm in tears because a man ~ who supposedly knew how to care for a horse cos he had a herd of horses ~ kept a horse IN A BASEMENT and was too sick to climb the stairs to the basement so he fed his HORSE IN THE BASEMENT via a chute (at least he fed her, thank God. Points to Old Sick Basement Dude.) For 10 / TEN YEARS, his horse saw absolutely NO HUMAN OR ANIMAL, NO SUNLIGHT, NO GRASS, you get the dark, dreary, LONELY picture. Explain to me why he didn't re-home her when he realized he couldn't go down to her? And WHO THE HELL KEEPS A HORSE IN A BASEMENT, whether he's sick or not? Thank GOD for Ms Janelle and sweet Peggy and that blessed sanctuary. As I get nearer to my final days I'm almost hyper aware of the passage of time and living life vs life being lived around you. (I'm a few years north of 50 so I have fewer years left than I have lived already, barring miracle medicine or magic potions or the rediscovery of a mystical fountain.) I never really questioned how I was raised or why I truly thought I wasn't the kind of girl who could travel Europe with a backpack & with or without a friend; or who took a job as a nanny to a family where Dad - Hell! Where's my GirlPower?! - ...a family where Mom ran a business from Australia and traveled regularly to Fiji and Malaysia and I'd go with to care for her 3 kids; or decided to drive a taxi on Martha's Vineyard for the tourist season? Why did I stick close to Home to attend 3 different colleges (though I have not a single devree), work at jobs that paid enough to be almost self-sufficient but I was not living FABULOUSLY at all; and get married to a guy so practical, instead of spending money on a honeymoon, we bought a dishwasher! And he traveled, but with his sister since I don't ski, and don't hike or bungee jump...and so on...and we divorced. Natch. But 30+ yrs later I wonder why I was so afraid of the unknown, of true adventure, of just letting my day unfold and rolling with it. I think of places I could have seen and countries I had the chance to visit and experiences I could have had and I don't know if I'm sad or angry or just rueful over chances missed. I still have time (tho not money) but it wouldn't be the same; inside my head I'm still 17 or 22 or even 27 but outside, my face wouldn't pass for 40, let alone 20s (we won't chat about the form, tho it's not bad for 50s) A mature woman will have different experiences than an attractive 24yo, no matter where she goes. Does Gidget look at Peggy and think about how her body can't keep up or about the time they won't have in the future, about the time lost in the basement? I'd like to think horses are much smarter than people so she didn't waste her time left , wallowing in the could have been like some chicks I know. And listening to Janelle, Ms Gidget knew she was special & loved & appreciated and she appreciated everything, right back. I should take some notes. GOD BLESS Y'ALL, JANELLE! You gave Ms Gidget the best year and you celebrated her life and gave her an honorable death. RESPECT! 🙇🏼♀️🤟🏼💕
