Before the universal camera versions of your presets, I would never do a serious portrait shoot with a Panasonic camera. The skin tones simply weren’t there, even when using the recommended Canon settings. However, with the recently updated version 2 Mastin Preset Packs I can get great looking Panasonic files with just a few clicks! If you are using older versions of Mastin Labs (the ones with individual Canon, Fuji, Nikon & Sony presets) I definitely recommend the free upgrade. Mastin Universal presets change everything for Panasonic shooters, and you no longer need to use an Olympus camera to get good Micro Four Thirds skin tones. The main reason I was keeping my Panasonics was for unlimited video event recording, and now they prove useful as actual stills cameras. Thank you Mastin Labs!

Kirk, I absolutely enjoy your editing tutorials! Would you recommend the Portra 400 for light and airy images as well?

Yes it can work that way. Really depends on the light.

Applying your preset there is too much greens in the skin tone how to remove that?

White Balance is important! Work with the temperature and tint to get that right- this pulls out the color palette in the preset. If you'd like, you can email [e-mail] for more help :)
